You guys clearly do not understand the meaning of first, second, and third world countries. First world is the US and it's allies, typically including Europe and other developed countries. Second world is Russia, or when the term was first created, the Soviet Union, and it's allies. They are typically thought of as less developed but still dangerous. Lastly, you have third world countries that may have weak ties to either side but are generally poor, under developed, and possibly resource rich but the locals are too stupid to harness those resources themselves and join the first or second world. Think majority of Africa, South East Asia, and Latin America.
