I told the RO and he had a word with him and warned him. I was still pissed to I glared at the guy. WHen I caught his eye I discreetly pointed my gun at him (safety was on). I did this a few more times and he started to freak out and was breaking out in a sweat. He told the RO, RO told him he was just retaliating with lies after being told on earlier and kicked him out. Later RO (good buddy of mine) comes over sand said I saw you pointng you gun at him, I thought it was hilarious and I know you are safe so I wasnt worried). we had a good laugh and got rid of a deadbeat that day. looking back if that guy had swept me a second time I probably would have been raging ehough to fire on him so im glad he was thrown out when he was.

Last time i went to the range there was a father and son laned next to me. The dad seemed to be really into guns and tried to explained to his son about safety and basic operations of the firearm, but the little one was on his phone the entire time and not even listening. I think the kid fired about 5 rounds down the range and then got up to sit down on the bench behind the firing line. Felt pretty bad for the guy desu.
He did let me shoot his scar a few times which was pure sex, might save up to buy one in a few month.

Just to throw my 2 cents in, my dad calls magazines for rifles magazines, and ones for pistols clips. I asked him one day and he shrugged and said, "That's what the Drill Instructor beat into my head during boot camp," I've noticed this tendency in a lot of older shooters, who even know that, say, a Mauser feeds rifle clips. So I think that's just what they used to call it in the early 70's, and they passed it down to their kids, and so on and so forth. Doesn't ever really bother me, as long as you can hit what you're shooting at it doesn't matter if you know the proper nomenclature for everything.

I never got to shoot with anyone other than my dad. My mom's dad was a hardcore redneck, welded to keep the mortgage paid, farmed and hunted the rest of the time to feed them. He had a huge collection of guns and used them all frequently. He died when I was 7 of ALS. My dad's dad was anti gun as fuck, since his brother had gotten killed in WWII (by a mine ironically) He was also pretty anti military until I joined the Army. I picked the same MOS as my great Uncle, and it was the first time my grandfather hugged me since I was a kid.
I know I'm lucky though, my dad loves guns even though he only owned one until recently, and would borrow, rent, and basically beg to get hold of rifles, shotguns, or whatever I wanted to shoot. Sure, words have meaning and change, but think of the point you have to get across as your bullet;
Do you want a tight grouping or a loose grouping? The more relaxed with your verbiage you are, the more likely words are to get muddled, and then things start to blend together, magazines and clips become interchangeable (which of course they are not), Shells and Cartridges mean the same thing, and Assault Rifle starts to mean any scary looking bullet-lobber that the moral majority thinks you should have.
