Anon, you came on a board rife with 14 year old no-guns, asking for their opinions, and you basically have no sieve to filter out the wheat from the chafe.
For hunting, I'm going to assume a.243 - .308 caliber with a (I think) 40mm optic. Using the bipod prone, you should be able to put 5 rounds in a 1-1.5" circle at 100 yards.
If so, and assuming you're shooting something bigger than a .223, that will let you hit the 6" lung shot on a CXP-2 size animal out to 400 yards. Do not do this until you have actually grouped 6" @ 400 yards regularly unless you want to lose the animal.
If you plan on hunting from anywhere other than a blind or stand, I recommend looking into learning to shoot with a Ching sling as soon as possible.
