I just got my BCM upper in the mail and noticed some bolt wear before I have ever put a round through it. Anyone notice this before on theirs?

did you buy an upper? They tell you they test fire it to make sure it works. Mine came slathered in lube, I was pretty happy I didn't really need to do much but slap it on a lower.

Yeah I bought the KMR and added the bolt and charging handle because they're both high quality and just didn't think this looked right. Figured y'all would have the answer.

That wear looks excessive for just testing. I got a CMMG bolt that was also tested, and its coating was uniform.
