I got them and I'm in Canada. Very illegal here. They're the real deal ones not that belt buckle shit. Got em off bkc . Com and they're nice. Bit crude finish and if you have large hands like me they're tight

Pretty dumb. They have no reach, require decent strength to use effectively, are heavy, and can possibly break your hands. I would much rather just carry around a pocket knife or something, brass knucks are just a novelty.

A typical pocket knife probably won't be as useful to an untrained person as a pair of brass knuckles. Imagine shitty non locking swiss army knife vs brass knuckles.
Now a hammer or spear would be way more useful than brass knuckles. A big dagger would also be pretty good (fixed or locking blade, hand guards, and a good profile maybe with both sides sharpened)
