So /k/, have any of you ever gone into the middle of nowhere and shot a COMPLETELY LEGAL full auto when no one was around? How was it? What legal full autos did you shoot?

I shot a papered Korea bringback PPSh-41 once that my uncle owned (and I believe he still does own). That thing was fun. We tried to shoot the drum that was captured with the gun, but it's winding mechanism was fucked so we just used stick mags.

I got to shoot some full auto stuff at a range once. I'm filled with a mighty need for an MP5 now.
Shot an MP5-10mm that an FBI agent had at a range. Either that, or he had a good story and didn't care about the cops driving by.
It was on a range with people present, but full auto:

I've put an AKM bolt carrier in my VPO-136, it's technically legal, but I still swap it back to civie one every time I go outtawoods, because cops don't really know the laws here.
And also use illegal 30-rounders, but that's a different story :)

I haven't but a gun range near me lets you use a full giggle MP5 for 20 bucks for one mag of ammo.
I shot some full auto stuff when I went to a range in vegas a few years back

I've shot a MAC 10, an MG53, an HK91, a MP5, an HK93, an M2 Carbine, an M249 Saw, and an M16. I was lucky enough to be born into a family of gun collecters, and I got to shoot the MG53 and M249 through an ATF visit to my ROTC dept. I fucking love automatics and it feels good as fuck knowing "I got mine". ;^)

I've also shot a 40mm grenade launcher and will likely in the future be pulling the cord for some mortars and smaller artillery peices. I'm not in the military either.

I've had only bad experience with m2's because they jam like a mother fucker and armorers are shit. All they know is headspace and timing but beyond that they're lost. 240 is my love though.
