This is the first update to The Ar/k/
The Original Ar/k/ is here: https://thepiratebay.se/torrent/13561569/The_Ar_k_
https://kat.cr/the-ark-t12093520.html
This update is meant to be merged with The Ar/k/ you will need to download the original is you haven't already.
Just like before, this is a torrent of a torrent. What you are downloading is the torrent file for the The Ar/k Update 1, it is too big for Kickass Torrents, when it's done downloading, open it up to start the download.
The Ar/k/ Update 1 is 169GB

Some of the contents of this update:
Gunsmithing
PALADIN PRESS
Virtual Training Camp (paraZite files)
Every Thing You Need To Know Ever
And more!
Bumping with sexy Bushmaster Arm Pistol / AOW
The holy texts are also included
>>29345919
A torrent for a torrent, wtf?
Also, somebody uploaded Pat McNamara TAPS Carbine and Pistol to kat a few days ago, might be a good addition for the video section
>>29347680
The torrent file is 4mb, TPB and Kickass Torrents don't allow torrent files that big to be uploaded. Retarded I know. Not many people trying to upload torrents with 38,808 files I guess

What is the Virtual Training Camp (paraZite files)?
The website looks like somebody got a serious mental problem http://parazite.nn.fi/files.html
>>29347853
its an offline copy of the website, its pretty fring
This is really the only thing on K worth a damn so bump
>>29345919
Relatively new to /k/, what is it?
>>29351445
Honeypot
>>29351467
All these files are available compiled online at the website anyway, you could even download them from there if you fear it being taken down.
Reminder that the correct Latin would be Ave Tessera Necis.
>>29351541
reminder that no one likes a grammar nazi asshole
>>29351445
Basicly its just a bunch of firearm manuals, gunsmithing videos, a few video games, training videos, 3D cad files for many many guns (ie 3D printed guns) how to make machine guns, auto sears ect ect, this update has a broader range of information, people saying it's a honeypot are simply government agents who don't want the bomb making info in these torrents getting into more hands because they honestly suck at their jobs. None of the information in these torrents is illegal to have or see. Of course practicing some of the things in here is still very much illegal (ie don't go turning your AK full auto just because you have a PDF on how to do it)
why no seed on the update file?
>>29352586
Yeah, 0 seeds and 4 peers atm
>>29353910
Id assume OP hasnt started his seeding for the torrent yet
This will be our bible if Hilary is elected.
>>29352586
>>29353910
should be seeding now
>>29351819
stupid question time:
1. Can we select which directories we actually want to torrent? A lot of that shit is fucking useless, senpai.
2. Has anyone taken the time to compress each directory?
>>29355544
yes you can pick and choose what to download,
if everything was compressed you wouldn't be able to pick and choose what to download. Everything You Need to Know Ever is in a tar because it has too many directories and exceeds the capabilities of torrent protocols
>>29355569
but if you compressed the subdirectories you could still choose by subdirectory.
>>29345919
Bumpin'.
What's the difference between this and the Megafolder hosted on murdercube?
>>29355814
This one is much more expansive and complete I believe
I'm getting ten peers and no seeds, keeps failing, forcing a recheck but some of you cockmonglers need to seed
>>29355860
I mean, the megafolder was expansive as fuck
>>29355581
sure. but this torrent can be rebuilt using other torrents and links found in the Notice Me S-Senpai! (update 1).txt
http://pastebin.com/aRCQSVfa
if I compressed everything, to rebuild it, you'd have to compress everything with the exact same settings, making a rebuild extremely hard to do if not impossible.
>>29355872
I have one seed six peers and atm I'm uploading faster than downloading
According to the swarmspeed op might have a connection with only 1 or 2 MB/s upstream, so this might take a while
>>29355814
>>29355897
Megafolder was about 75GB
The Ar/k/ is 285GB (includes Megafolder)
The Ar/k/ Update 1 is 168GB
for a total of 454GB
>>29355960
it took about 3-5 days for The Ar/k/ (285GB) to be seeded once. The update is a lot smaller.
If I wasn't seeding the torrent, the upload would normally be 12Mbps
>>29356025
Wait so what's the difference between the Ark and update 1
>>29355959
oh well, I guess I'll just download everything and then compress it after the fact. of course that means I won't be able to seed or peer.
>>29356045
Well Update 1 has files that the first release doesn't have. The idea is that you download the The Ar/k/ then download the update (to add more files) BUT you don't need one or the other. You can download them into the same folder.
>>29356050
true. but if you plan on using the files at all, compressing it is a pain since nothing would be searchable (unless you know to make Windows or Linux search inside archives as part of the system wide searches)
>>29356072
gonna have to break out my externals for this... Internals won't hold it all
>>29356090
I have it saved on my raid array, and two external HDDs don't wanna lose it.
>>29356089
basically what I'll do is compress it after I create an index file summarizing the database. fuck, I might even make it a database file.
failing that, I use PeaZip, which can search and browse archives without extracting their contents.
Torrenting now.
There happen to be stuff about field medicine and whatnot? I'd like to learn how to be an asset to my team through medicine.
>>29356369
yea boss, both the Ar/k/ and the update have plenty
>>29356404
Thanks!
>>29356369
My friend ripped his Blu Rays specially for this release, he's a high functioning autistic so the quality is amazing
thanks man, keep the updates coming
>>29356711
yea the Brussels attacks pushed my release schedule up. Wanted to get the information out faster.
>>29356961
Sound thinking. Bump
my client keeps crashing and failing to even start the download, i got about 100 gigs in then it refuses to go any further, then just hangs up every time i restart it
>>29358271
what OS, and client?
Oh it's this guy again with his huge folder of shit where most of it is duplicated multiple times and a lot of it is totally worthless.
>>29358354
7, mutorrent, it was fine, but shat itself half way through, its probably my own illiteracy with torrenting and software in general
>>29358374
There's some interesting stuff in there, but most of it is either obsolete or plain bs (e.g. most of the Paladin Press books)
>>29356448
i couldnt see spice and wolf in bbc folder
>>29351566
Caesar non supra grammaticos.
