Yes. Have had one for 6 years, used it in the army because my country`s issue vest was shit at that time. It is everything you want in a combat vest.
M83 Chest rig is a really good alround rig, can fit a bunch of different magazines, everything is basic and simple.
Some people complain about the mag pouches only having velcro, but if you want buckles or something just sew them on.
Both the vest and the chest rig are getting more rare.

You can get Knockoff Airshit versions on Ebay for 40$. I think its maybe a step down in quality compared to a real P-83 Battle Jacket considering its advertised for like paintball and airsoft, but they can come in colors like Flektarn etc. I bought one because at the time i couldnt justify the expensive markups at NE. It works great (The mag pouches are a little tight.) and i havent had any problems with it and i've had it for over a year now.

Fucking love it, the legit ones are getting increasingly hard to find and expensive tho. You could easily use a battle jacket as a 24 hour kit with no additional bags which is pretty awesome.

Buy the real deal or don't bother. The airshit knockoffs are fucking garbage compared to the originals in every sense.
They're bad enough that, should you not be able to find a legit one at an acceptable price, just don't buy one.
That said, the legit battle jackets are rare and when they do turn up it's not for a decent price most of the time.
I have a flecktarn m83 and it is fucking great. So many pouches for everything you need, and so comfy.

Don't buy them from ebay for 200 bucks, it's a big lie, they are priced that high only because there is no one from SA to sell them as milsurp after one company went under. Everything is private sales nowadays.

Yes, though they'll fall deep into the cells. There's a version with straps in each cell that wrap under the bottom of the mag, and you pull on them to lift the mag out. Or you can do what I did and just put tape/cord loops on the bottom of each mag.

I have a milsurp one. Relatively comfy except for the bottom two mag pouches on the right side. They're unpadded, and the mags bottoms smack into my hip if I run in it.
Still, it's a good rig if you want to carry a shitlord of mags on you. And the back pouch can fit a camelbak style bladder if you remove the internal partition.
