Not to mention ammo cost savings. I got 50 founds of AE 9mm at Cabelas yesterday for $11.89/50. Much cheaper to shoot at the range than 5.56. Although I do love shooting this too.

Troy. It's awesome. I hated the way the boxy magpul and BCM VFGs looked. Everything else that was round looked dumb.
It was between the Troy (expensive) and the GG&G (cheap), but I liked the way the Troy looked better so I bought it.

I was going to get one but for several reasons I went with the MPX. The only pro to the CZ is the price of mags...if they are available which they hardly ever are.
Once the hype dies down, I may eventually get one. I hear the 922r kits are a pain in the ass to get.

I'm kind of bummed that I won't be SBRing mine when I get it. I'll add a folding stock adapter and just put a thordsen cheek saddle kit on it so I can keep it as a backpack/car gun.
CHL only permits me to have a concealed pistol/handgun on me or in my car loaded.

I'm about as Vortex fanboy as it gets, but they really dropped the ball with the SPARC. Putting the emitter RIGHT at the 6 o'clock position blocks cowitness with a lot of iron sights.

I don't even bother with cowitness most of the time. I like them because they hold up well and I can afford to put one on most of my range toy guns. "Serious" guns get Aimpoints and cowitness.

No, they're not.
A light, low recoil rifle in a cheap caliber is fun to shoot, and they make for good HD weapons, being easily controllable, having little risk of over penetration, and operable wiht one hand if need be. Sharing magazines with your pistols is also fucking useful.
The scorpion is a gimmick due to the lack of a stock.
Pistol carbines are not.

So just get a sig brace or cheek weld and it's nearly just as good or SBR it. They're making a 16" Scorpion Evo carbine too.

Or you can buy carbines that already have stocks.
There's no reason to deal with the expense of SBRing or the risk of a sig brace.

What risk? Don't shoulder it. No one is going to charge your for putting it to your shoulder if you need to use it in self defense. It's about intent. Sure they may stick you with it in a criminal act if it isn't a justifiable self defense shooting. But I don't plan on shouldering it, I'll just get the Thordsen cheek saddle.

The Czechs were way ahead of you. They tried marketing the Vz.61 as a carbine years ago.
I'm actually looking into creating a line of Skorpion accessories, some of which would be copied/tweaked from this image. New bolt nubs for one-handed charging, a Vz.58 stock adapter (maybe a Sig brace adapter, too), an optic mount, and a locking pad for the folder to cure that shit LOP, plus whatever else I can think of/people ask about.
All 100% reversible, no bubba crap.

CSA also makes them, if that's a concern. And it's the exact same thing, I've handled both side by side, and the biggest difference was the markings on the gun.

Yes, you have to SBR it.
This gun is a crazy fun shooter. It's probably the best 9mm PDW ever made by humans. The only thing that would make it better would be full auto.
