found this in the attic. seems to be well preserved. it was covered in vaseline. seems to be disfunctioned on purpose because choke doesn't move and the magazine can't be removed.

it's called "deactivated weapon", and they are pretty much collector's items for people who can't / don't want functional funs.
Pretty common in Europe, I had a Suomi M31 one up until last year; it could be dry-fired and mag came off just fine, so I guess the de-mil requirements vary depending on the country.
Sold it for 580€, and used the money to buy me a working Kalashnikov.

some skilled gunsmith could probably get it working again. Might need a new bolt and or barrel, unless you're fine with simply welding shut and cutting out the de-mil shit they jam into and cut off the barrel and such.
