It's seems every range I go to in California this happens
>Guy with no bullet button on
>someone shooting 17 rounds from a glock
>ar 15 and ak with 30 round mags
>all while sheriff and off duty cops are shooting and talking with them
Is this common or are we lucky we have base pro gun cops in my area
>>
>>29279320
most likely you have pro-gun LEOs. the further you get away from Los Angeles or San Fran this tends to be the case.
>>
what part of california are you located?

anywhere outside of the big shit cities (SF, LA, SD, and from what ive seen recently Riverside) most people aren't anti gun commie faggots , they generally don't care or are interested in guns

thats not to say theres not anti-gun people outside of the cities, but i really don't run into many

most cops understand those restrictions are bullshit
>>
>>29279320

>not knowing about featureless rifles
>not understanding that using a 17 round mag in a Glock isn't illegal
>what are 10/30 mags?
>fuck cops

You're stupid, that's all.
>>
why does everyone on here always ask about Cali? Ny has worse laws and we are just blissfully ignorant and go about our shooting practices. Seems like everyone in CA is a pussy
>>
>>29279354
Most of /k/ is from California

People in New York don't actually have guns and post ok /k/ but a lot of californians do.
>>
>>29279352
Their had all features and how the fuck is an obvious brand new ar pre ban and how could you shoot 30 rounds without reloading with a 10/30 face it we don't give a shit about salt weapons ban and your a boot licker

>sheriffs deputy pulls up
>sees pic related
>says they got a call from wome dirtbiker about people shooting
>"yep, that was us"
>complements our firearms
>goes on his way

Not gonna lie. I was shitting my pants. Had enough illegal shit to go to prison forever.
>>

>people in jew york actually have guns but dont post on /k/ but cali fags do

fixed
>>

>get imprisoned
>get out on bail due to good lawyer
>leave Cali and never go back
>guns are now displayed on police tables as scurry baby killin salt rifles
>>

>bail
>on a 25 to life sentence
>>
With all that stupid California stuff just remember that the SKS is still perfectly legal. In all of 10 minutes you can put on a scary black stock and an adapter for a 30 round mag but because it's wood from the factory = not scary.
>>
>>29279320
From what I understand it is not even illegal to have them
Just import buy and make
So if you brought some mags in 3 years ago and can prove it they can't touch you becuase statue of limitations is over
>>
>>29279533
SKS is cool, but mini 30 is superior and easier to convert into a scurry babby killer. Just insert high capacity heat seeking poison tipped armor piercing clipazine

It's the same way in New York. Outside of NYC, most Law Enforcement actively opposes the SAFE Act and do whatever they can to Ċ vejk it. If it wasn't illegal to have salty gats and extendo clipazines shipped into the state, the SAFE Act would be a complete non-issue since nobody besides the NYPD wants to enforce it.

Couldn't find any good Mini 30 examples but I did with the Mini 14. One looks like Grandpa's old varmint rifle while the other is a deadly war machine assault rifle.
>>
>>29279548
yeah thats bullshit. they can totally confiscate your shit and force you to go to court. if its your only charge it will be dropped like a year later but your not getting any of your shit back. then you have to pay legal fees
>>
>>29279354
it's simply a result of statistics. it's population is nearly 40 million people. that's more people than poland, canada, or saudi arabia.

that's almost 2 australias- and we all know how much they post.
>>
>>29279622
STOPPING POWER INCREASED TO THAT OF A TANK
>>
>>29279849
Huh. Wonder why poland doesn't have more citizens.
>>
>>29280183
I see what you did there. Well done.
>>
>>29280175
One guy came into the gunshop once and said the AR looked like it shot faster than the mini-14 before I told him that they shoot the same round out of the same length barrel.

Kind of curious about this, any shooters in the San Bernadino area manage to get away with 30 round mags? I have a fuck ton of them that I brought with me on accident in addition to the seven that are issued to me, I would really like to shoot them but I don't want to be arrested
>>
Would you be allowed to get a 10 round .50 Beowulf magazine in Cali? It can hold almost 30 rounds of 5.56, the fact that it will fit in a normal AR and feed through it is just a happy coincidence.
>>
>>29280445
yes
>>
>>29280424
I'm from cali, therefore we all are.
>>
>>29280424
There's a map somewhere that has a bunch of /k/ommandos location. Guess where most people are from.
>>
>>29280445
idk, .50 is banned in CA
>>
I go shooting in two different in-door ranges in OC. The only thing i've seen is no bullet buttons on magazines and some 15-17 round glocks. I use 25 round mags on my 10/22 and no problems.
>>
>>29280645
.50 BMG is banned....50 beowulf is not.
>>
>>29280445
Yes.

>>29280645
BMG
>>
I go shooting on BLM land in Socal a few times a month and I would estimate that around half are using standard capacity magazines and some rifles have bullet buttons or they just use magnets
>>
>>29279354
California actually has nice ranges and a lot of public land to shoot on next to major population centers.

If you live in NYC you don't really have too many gun stores or land to do so. However, New York is next to a couple free states and easily within 4-5 hours of a whole lot more progun states so the East Coasters have more access to fun stuff, which is why New York State pretty much gives no fucks about their gun laws similar to the inland and rural Californian counties.

It caused me physical pain to read that entire "sentence".

No it seems pretty common from what ive seen here in riverside. One time a guy mag dumped a 30 round mag out of his AR and a cop driving by just kept going
>>
>>29280445
Would it be illegal to use
>>
>>29279320
Since I'm from Missouri, no, I don't actually care about the laws in California.
>>
No, nobody really cares about California. The Red Hot Chili Peppers were joking.
>>
>>29279482
Where do you shoot usually?

>hi-cap mag with magazine lock
>SALT WEAPON
>>
>>29279622

The worst part is the top one is more functional. The pistol grip makes it awkward unless you have t Rex arms.
>>
>>29279751
You can easily win if you have proof of purchase before the date of ban.
>>
How bad are california laws compared to UK (where im from)? I read about them always sucking, is there a site i can directly compare state/country gun laws?
>>
I work at a retail store in the bay area. Last week, a shoplifter was caught on camera, but because he appeared to have a knife, we called the cops and let them handle it.

He tried to escape, but was caught near instantly. In his car, he had some form of "high capacity rifle".

Had we not seen the knife and tried to arrest him ourselves, we could have been easily fucked.

Point is, where there's a will, there's a way, and there is definitely a much more effective way of getting the protection that anti-guns want than this broken restriction on what's already on the books.
>>
>>29281942
California gun laws are bad, but not UK levels of bad. For example, you don't need a special permit to buy ammo. You can buy any firearm made before 1899 without any paperwork, which is nice because a lot of Mausers were made around then.
>>
>>29281910
>>29279751
Isn't the burden of proof on them?
>>
>>29282377
Yes, but cali doesn't care. The cali supreme court will rule against you even on open and shut 1st amendment cases if it goes against the liberal agenda. Judicial activism has no limits in cali.
>>
>>29280806
Yep
