It strikes me that if they wanted to really go rule of cool they could have hollowed out that connecting space and replaced that support with some struts. Pressure only effects force if there is motion you idiot

and tell me how chamber pressure will effect recoil, m8
I can reload a 308 at top pressure (62k psi) and only moves 2500 fps and it will recoil less than a round with 59k pressure and moving 2900 fps

The calculation of force DOES NOT take into account pressure
ONLY velocity will effect the calculation

No you don't
That's not true at all
Again, you can load a 2500 fps load at max pressure and have lower force than you would loading a 2900 fps load to a lower pressure

Pressure does not effect recoil
You're now ignoring Newtons third law
The force you put on the bullet will also be put into your shoulder

If you up the velocity, you will up the force
If you up the pressure, nothing will change unless velocity changes

>Of course the velocity will change. You gonna have more force(pressure) driving the same bullet from the same gun

>>
>>29277341
>the original argument was that more pressure would put more strain on parts
>that is not true
it's not necessarily true. it depends on what stresses are critical. e.g. the locking lugs of ARs have a limited lifespan, and their stress is caused by bolt thrust, which depends on peak pressure. recoil-operated firearms are usually mostly stressed by the battering of parts through recoil forces, which aren't determined by peak pressure.

I'll just leave this here.

You are literally retarded.
>>
>>29273919
>implying you'd ever be able to come close to that with a pistol
>implying that you'd even notice the difference between a pistol capable of 1.5 MOA and a pistol capable of 4 MOA like modern service pistols can do
What you just stated is literally a gimmick.

>crazy accurate
>implying how accurate a gun is depends on the ammo it shoots and not the construction of the gun itself
I want the noguns to leave.

Fiat owns Chrysler hommie.

I was talking about what cartridge the gun shoots, not the quality of the ammo. Accidentally deleted the post and left some out when retyping it quickly.

Except the ammo does have an impact in accuracy. Some rounds are affected more or less by wind, more or less drop, ect.

Not to mention that they were shooting at a 100 yard target with this pistol and round and claiming 1.5" groups, so that's pretty damn accurate for a semi auto pistol.

Can I just get it in 10mm instead?

No. They're trying to force a meme here. They can't afford to divide their focus.
