In terms of legal use, the sig brace is lots better.
The shockwave for those who paid their stamp or just shoulder it illegally will find that it weighs half as much, costs much less, and has a much more solid lock up when extended out.
Basically if you're at your own home range shouldering an arm brace away from public view the shockwave is a way better product.
