I acquired a 91/30 and removed most of the cosmoline. Now I'm thinking I was seriously stupid and should get some cosmo and recoat and deep-six store the 91/30 and a crate of ammo. Seal in a chunk of PVC pipe, capped and glued with a handful of those oxygen chasers sealed in there.
A 91/30 would be handy after the first pass of looting and arms confiscations... bury it in the backyard or under the house or something.

You should probably buy like 3+ considering that's the closest you can get to an affordable baby killer that isn't a mandingo barrel VZ58.
Also buy a shit ton of 7.62x39 and surplus stripper clips. Don't waste your money on chinkshit clips, because you'll end up spending an hour bending them and crimping them to fit in your rifle, and they'll still feed like shit.

But I don't believe in selling your own firearms though. You should be selective and thorough when purchasing a firearm so you're happy with it; and don't end up selling it later on because you don't like it.

If you are looking for a bury gun, a 9 mm hi point would make an excellent choice.
Dirt cheap, pretty reliable (test it before you bury it, they have an amazing warranty, and anything that goes wrong usually does so early), a common easily accessible round, and in the event of arms confiscations a pistol is easier to hide than a fuckhuge rifle.
If you are going to bury it, make sure you do it deep enough. If you bury it too shallow, water freezing in the soil during winter can push it back out of the earth.
