I can't seem to get these to work right in my Yugo SKS. I have trimmed the mag to look just like the internal. Just jams. Jams with the untrimmed mag too. Anyone have this issue?

Can you be more specific?
>I have trimmed the mag to look just like the internal.
In what way?
>Just jams. Jams with the untrimmed mag too.
Again, specify.
My Yugo would ram the bullet into the 4-to-8 o'clock area under the chamber. I had to sand out the magwell so that it didn't pinch the mag, and file the inside of the feed lips at an angle such that the rounds pointed up at the chamber. Before that, the rounds pointed straight for the 4-to-8 area.
I'm trying to track down a pic I saw in a forum which illustrated the issue...

Ah yes, here it is:

My trigger group falls out when I rack the charging handle but only when it's on safe, and I looked at the retention spring and it looks like it's been sheared or somthing, could this be causing it?

Mine looks sheared on the bottom too, but yours looks like it might be short.
>>29249534
Oh, you can't even see mine from that angle...
>>29249429
That's weird. My trigger group practically takes a crowbar to get out.

I had the exact same problem. I solved it by only using an original 10rder or the drum.

Mines does that too. I just dont use the safety.
Is it normal for norincos to have such red stocks? I picked up one on Thursday and at first i thought it was refinished. Its kind of sticky to the touch and smells like paint or something. I dont know if this is a factory finish. It seems different form other sks i have seen. Its 0141 factory.
Pic related.
So who shot their SKS today?
Took my Russian out in the rain and got her wet, good times.

nah i shot mine yesterday. First time shooting corrosive. cleaning was so much fun.....

That looks like a fiberglass jungle stock.. They were usually red for some reason. The Chinese were the only ones that made synthetic stocks for the SKS.

No it is definitely wood i assure you.
>>29251433
Huh, well beyond bubba refinishing the rifle I have no idea. I can't imagine that is original.

No. It's normal for most to have an orange oil looking finish.
Yours was probably refinished by someone at some point.
