Im currently no guns, when i was growing up my dad had firearms and used to take me out shooting, i always enjoyed target shooting, now im looking to get back into it.

A lot of places offer safety courses for ABH in one go(at least my one does) so why not go for it and see?
If you join Shooters Union($30/year) it covers you for A B H for your genuine reason and you just have to go to the local pistol range and get signed off, you don't have to join the pistol club.

i dont know, do you know anyone here already? arizona is a pretty free fucking state. im in california, you can find ranges that rent guns and stuff. maybe las vegas has what youre looking for. or kentucky. kentucky does an annual machine gun shooting festival , knob creek

I know there's more but its always nice to know where i can fully experience american culture.
Washington state has nice parks and trails I guess. Just stay the fuck away from King County, especially Seattle...maybe go to Pike Place though.

Hi OP.
Given you are a Mexican I would really suggest getting AB H. Vic laws arent bad you have the best public hunting land access in the country. Also duck huntng as well and lPSC is approved for over .38. And legal 50 BMGs. Its all enough to make a boy from Gods own state a tad jelly.
Anyway just get all three, the Cat H is a bit more of a pain but it is a hell of a lot of fun.

I checked out the SSAA and there's a range not to far from me which offers AB H programs so i think ill give them a try and see how i go with that.

I was looking into cat H licesne here and the only club i could find was SSAA and i had to do multiple shoots and a course before the safety course and shoot 6 comps while on probationary license before getting full. It that normal for here?

They have both New shooter classes for AB and H (H is $130 while AB is $45 but comes with rifle hire/ handguns, ammo and range fee)
