So I'm really wanting to find myself a DP-28, but all of them are either $5,000 on Armslist or in $380 demilled kits. Does anyone know where somebody could get a barrel for one to go with a parts kit approach, or is there full ones at a reasonable price? I just want muh dinner plate-28
RTG parts is having some barrels made, chrome lined too, your best bet is to build one yourself, DPM kits are around right now

i am hyped, but its still around 2-3000 to have a kit built and converted, to get 922r compliance so you can use the foreign pan mags, all in all its a bitch to do, i got my kit from robert bowman on armslist, along with 24 pan mags in an original shipping case of 20

well, the lower is built differently, one of the inherant changes between dp28 and dpm, was they moved the recoil spring from the gas piston to a tube on the back, and made the stock shaped differently doing so, if i could find a stock that wasnt 70-80$ i'd try to see if it would fit, with or without the tube getting in the way

looking through reference images, with a bit of sanding it should fit, assuming the dimensions are the same for the part that inlets in the stock

well, i dont have the equipment or knowledge on how to weld it back together, convert it from open bolt full auto only to closed bolt semi auto, not to mention refinishing it, and not fucking all that up

The magazine is piss easy to limit. Stick a nail through it at 10 rounds and you are golden. Its legal because without the mag its a bone and stock "hunting rifle". The flash cone can easily be modified to be "tamper to remove" which keeps it legal.

the only place willing to build one, if i recall was smg guns, for about 2k, 2100 for dpm, but i think they have focused all their resources on their fg42 project, so im not 100% sure on that anymore, aside from that, maybe flandre? hes an accomplished gunsmith iirc, or maybe someone else
