is Aero Precision AR parts any good?
I don't know if they is. Perhaps someone could tell you if they are, though.

Or you could you know...ask in the /arg/.
>>29220633
eh. kinda thought it sounded off. At least it's somewhat understandable.
>>29220650
yeah.....everytime I ask a question in there, it gets drowned by some shit about BCM. I just kinda stopped asking in there.
>>29220694
In all honesty, build with what you want. It's kind of hard to fuck up an AR part.
>>29220612
>not a full stock
>shorter barrel
>not even a a2 birdcage flash hider
i nearly vomited
>>29220612
i was in a similar situation as you during my last build OP
then i realized at the end of everything i would have regretted not spending the extra couple hundred to get reputable parts
im sure that aero is fine for a range rifle, which is what we all use them for anyway
however if you recognize the autism in yourself like i did, just save up and buy the more reputable parts

Thank mr skeltal
Aero is great i bought on of the complete rifles.
I've got an aero lower on mine and its bretty gud
I have an ar15 and ar10 both with matched upper and lower aeros and they work good. Got a 18" 308 barrel from aero as well, and will probably get a rail from them too. Satisfied so far

Hello faggot. I'm the guy who thinks gas pistons are master race and own 2 RAS47s. Having done some work for them in their facility I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are every bit as good as Rainier. They hold extremely low tolerances from their machines and have 0 tolerance for low quality metals.
Gas piston master race.
I've got an Aero upper on a basic bitch build, groups about 1.5 inches at 100 yds, and has been solid.

This made me smile mr dubbs.

/arg/ is literally just tripshit containment. Just filter all tripcodes starting with ! and be happy that they stay in the generals.

I got an aero precision lower while I was waiting for my nodak spud lower. It worked fine, never had any issues with it. The color was a complete lie though, it was not anywhere close to my A1. Unless there was an M16 or AR15 that was significantly lighter than the A1
>>29224438
there are two shades of "A1" grey. the XM grey, which was done prior to 1969, and the "pre-ban" grey, which was used on Colt sporters until the late 1980's.
pre-ban is grey-ish blue, and XM grey is greyish-green. blue will appear significantly lighter next to anodized parts because the original finish used a completely different chemical process for anodization (that isn't as hard or tough as the type III anodizing the M16A2 enjoyed in 1982).

For some reason the finish looks really light when using a camera flash, but looks close to black to the eye. I guess it reflects a lot more blue light or something. Maybe they based if off a picture or something.

Interesting, thanks for the info. The Nodak "XM" gray lower blends in very well, I guess they were basing their grey off the shorter color then. No issues with the lower other than that , though.
Also the molyresin on the barrel/front sight/flash hider matched very well. I guess life would be harder if you had a SP1 or something along those lines.
Are their Carry Handles any good? I need one to pair up with an F-marked front sight but I can't even get an answer from Aero Precision themselves as to whether or not theirs are .840
