Ar sucks at long range tho. Im shooting in 1000yd prone matches. And to be competitive I have a custom rem700 action etc. Most are target rifles are more expensive than my setup but suck. Just look at the leaderboards. Aks are fine for what they are. But ars are just overhyped by fanboys who think 223 is good.

Both the AK and the AR suffer from barrel wobble when fired. Its a inherent flaw of their design.
The delayed roller blowback magic of the G3 on the other hand is not affected by this problem.

Roller delayed blowback, long stroke gas op, bolt actions, break actions, everything has wobbly barrels.
Less shit on the barrel doesn't remove wobbling, quite the opposite, but it does let the wobbling be consistent, if the ammo's consistent.
