Are they too fedora? My grandfather gave me his and I actually find revolvers pretty cool.

Revolvers are pretty cool, OP, but there are much better options out there for CC. Anyway, do you want to cause more wear to a possible family heirloom and risk damaging it or would you rather spend $300 on a S&W Shield and have something you don't worry about?
Pic semi related, not a great choice for CC
>>29190164
Don't use your fucking grandfather's revolver for a CC. What happens when you have to use it and it gets confiscated as evidence and sits in a police evidence locker for a year marinating in nigger blood? Use something you can afford to lose.
>>29190164
Get a modern .38, they're cheaper and more effective

Another Weihrauch HW7 bro
>>29190164
Don't fucking CC it. Keep it but Jesus tap-dancing Christ do not CC it. You realize that Dick Speicals have gone up in price in the past few years?
Get something you can afford to lose like >>29190223 Said.
>>29190249
I do love my little HW7, but I have no front sight! I'm using a green screw I picked up in an ace hardware parking lot right now. Thread happened to be the same and it's actually the perfect height.

I guess you's right, but I still would find it fitting that something that my grandfather passed on to me protects me as it protected him, it has two confirmed kills on it over it's 31 years of service and more on the civilian side. Guess I'll look into that .38.
>>29190164
Nah, that's awesome. If it fits your hand and your method of carry, go for it.
>>29190164
anyone ever handle the colt pocket or police positives in .32 ?
>>29190164
no theyre not, but Ii wouldn't cc something so valuable
get a regular .38 and use it as a work horse. save the .32 for the range
Don't listen to these losers, OP. CC that shit like a boss! The caliber was practically MADE for snubbies, and compared to more common rounds, feels wonderful in them.

Little pro-tip kid, even if you are justified in shooting a dindu, the po-po will take your gun while they investigate. You think they're going to take good care of it? Fuck no. They're gonna have OP drop it on concrete, which will probably scratch that Royal Blue finish, then after some ignorant asshole who can't appreciate a good gun because all he shoots are soulless M&P's and Glocks he'll get his nasty sugar-donut coated fingers all over it before throwing it in an evidence sandwich bag and it's off to municipal storage for at least 6 months while OP is under investigation.
What do you think is going to happen to that piece over the course of those months in storage, numb-nuts?
That's why you get a piece like >>29191201 so it is okay if the pigs confiscate it.
>>29190164
I can't speak for a 32, but I carry an unshrouded 38 SD and would stake my life on it.
>>29190164
I would say keep and use but don't carry it unless you think you grandad would of wanted that more then it getting dusty in a drawer or safe.
I just bought a kinda beat up CDS for 510 including shipping and would carry that when I get a decent holster for it.
I say carry if you want or must but get a second revolver for that, say a 300-500 model 36/37 or 39/49 or Colt agent. Or maybe a Ruger SP 101 or Model 13/65 3 inch or snub 19/65.
While preserving its history and legacy you can make your own with your new one.

It's only fedora if you insist that it's 1000% more reliable and superior than a semi-auto and carry it everywhere.
Keep it, shoot it, treat it well and leave it to your kids.
>>29190164
>Are they too fedora?
You carry what fits you best, and what you can shoot well. Forget everything else.
>>29191568
No. Tighten your grip if you have recoil issues. .357 is the ideal carry revolver, load it with .357 or .38.
>>29193785
This is good advice all around.
