Is a mosin nagant worth making totally tacticool? In practice if I got an after market stock, did the floating barrel thing, recrowned and threaded the barrel, got a muzzle device, bent the bolt, got one of those optic mounts, and a decent optic would it be a semi decent dmr weapon? I want to shoot the cheap ammo accurately. Are there similar solutions?
I genuinely want opinions on this before I spend the money. I'm not too sure why you think this is bait. If I'm some sort of moron at least tell me why.

Im actually about to do roughly the same thing. Archangel body, good scope, bipod, shorten the barrel and get a flash suppressor. The only problem is finding a damn nugget now... they used to be 89 bucks, now i can only find them for 189.

Just get a modern .308 you tard. It'd actually be accurate and there are more ammo options than machine gun grade surplus and wolf commercial steel case.

Because you have unrealistic expectations of what you can hope to achieve with a Mosin. For what you will spend on doing all those things, you can buy a Tikka T3 or FN PBR or similar rifle. Hell you can buy a Savage 110 for less than most Mosins these days and those (the Savage) have a infinitely better aftermarket, as well as better caliber to shoot cheaply (which isn't synonymous with shooting accurately).
In short you'd be wasting your money, and destroying a piece of history while you're at it.
