I'm not an expert on chinese ak's but I doubt that it's a mak90 and something more valuable. Either way, if it is a chinese ak, it's well worth the $500 any day. You could ask Chimps on /akg/ because he has somewhat of an autistic knowledge for aks.

Ah, well it says made in chine next to the magwell with a norinco stamp. it also has fully enclosed sights, but I don't know enough to know if thats indicative of a mak 90

I already own it actually, thing is I accepted it in a trade along with a brand new winchester 30-30 ae, which I think is only worth around 400 bucks. I took both these guns and 150 rounds for the AK in place of $1000

Arsenal makes good shit, I have an SLR107FR and an SGL31. That being said, there's a difference between an AK100 series rifle and an AKM and it's not really a fair comparision.
As for Century, they used to be meh but apparently their newer wasr10's are decent for the money. I would steer clear of their other guns however.

To add, I might be going on a limb here but chances are it shot chinese ammo which may or may not be corrosive so definately check the barrel for any pitting or shit like that.

Needs a good cleaning, but it looks good to go, heck of a deal. I don't remember if the mak 90 triggers had trigger slap or not, gotta fire it to find out. If it does, there are some very affordable trigger replacements.
