The only thing that could actually sink all that simultaneously would be a nuclear weapon. If that shit kicks off those carriers won't really be of much use anyway.

I guess that makes an attack at Norfolk impossible then. The logistics alone are far beyond the capabilities of any nation on earth. Maybe after someone circumnavigates the globe we should start thinking about taking security at Norfolk seriously.

If any terrorist group, country or even dumbass even makes a fucking dent in any of the ships. I will see to it that they get killed. If they scratch the paint on my planefu F-22's, then I will make sure that every single F-22 at Langley AFB makes them embrace democracy.

OP, I think you grossly underestimate how hard it is to sink a modern aircraft carrier. They are built to keep chugging while juggling multiple hull breaches, anything a hypothetical Chinese agent could smuggle in wouldn't even scratch the paint.
As an aside, your uninformed opinions and snide tone make you look like some sort of placard-waving paranoid schizo, bemoaning that unlike you, nobody sees things for what they really are, when in fact it is you who is the blind self-assured fool.
>>

It was already hard to sink a carrier in WW2. Most of them had to be scuttled to prevent capture by the enemy.

The problem was it wasn't a real country we could declare war on. It was a group working inside a country with a government we knew was oppressive so we had to be delicate with the people.
It wasn't a sneak attack by a powerful, aggressive enemy whose citizens worshiped their leader as a God, it was a bunch of assholes living in a country run by assholes populated by stone age farmers. Plus there where cameras everywhere this time, things were much more delicate.
>>
>>28657767

So you actually have no concept of naval operations, do you? Being able to sail around the globe is way different from being able to attack Norfolk.

Who would do this? Using what ships? What are their logistics? How do the get into the Hampton Roads to get there? What are all of the ships at Little Creek doing? How do you avoid dying from all the pain that is rained down on you from Oceana, Cherry Point, Langley, etc...? Were you able to make it past all of the SSN's in the Atlantic?

Go look at a map of the central atlantic coast and tell me how this is in any way a realistic concern.

5/10 - you got me to type that up.

No Japan didn't do it/

The news papers just said that Japan did but It's becoming increasingly more obvious who invests in weapons, media, and starts wars.

Here is a hint: They, want the internet censored because anyone can google them now.

Key question here: who gains the most from blowing up something? The one who invested in the war.

Lol... good fucking luck attacking any major US military base nowadays. They will KNOW if any country is planning on atracking them, and know where they are before they can get into range.

Plus nukes make total war really difficult to fight. So unless you want whatever shithole country attacks the US turned into a stained glass emporium, it's best to leave them alone.
>>
>>28663098
I think a lot of people forget that the relationship between the United States and China is symbiotic. Nowadays, neither can live without one another. Both countries are holding each other's economy up.

The US has trillions in debt to China... and China has trillions in debt to the US.
