~270 yards 20" AR-15 scoped. This was just with 55 grain wolf gold. I haven't bothered to get dies for .223 yet.

100% believeable IMO. Also 270 yards isn't that far for a rifle. He just knows what he's doing and probably didn't buy the cheapest crap he could get ahold of.

Believe what you want, I wish I had taken a photo through the range finder on that shot though. Past the two trees circled, there's some prairie land that was burned last summer, so that let me get out a bit further. usually, it's only about 150-170 yards.

Are you using rifled slugs in a rifled barrel? That'll explain 12 moa. Rifled shotgun barrels are for unrifled and sabot slugs

a 12 gauge has a bore diemter of 0.80 of a inch, a penny's diamter is 0.75 of a ich, those holes should be BIGGER then teh penny he is using for scale.

Because vertical stringing like that indicates a shooter issue. Typically a vertical string indicates that you are taking your shots at different points in your breathing, while a horizontal string can be evidence of poor trigger control.

heres a 4 shot group out of my '33 izhevsk, 100 yds with irons (the hole at the very bottom was to see point of impact). I was using handloads with .312 bullets loaded with one of those cheap lee loader kits. I'm pretty satisfied with the accuracy as the bore has some moderate pitting, and it's been counter-bored. plus I had a lot of trouble seeing the target with those irons

Wolf is a brand which uses ammo from multiple different manufacturers, low tier stuff is usually Russian or Ukrainian and higher tier stuff is from all over the world depending on caliber (Serbia, Germany, Taiwan etc).
