I'd love to talk about the weapons, tools and tactics of trench warfare. We all know it's a stupid ass way to fight a war, but it's damn interesting to me.

Im pretty certain that there was only one noteworthy large-scale naval battle, the Battle of Jutland.
In short the Germans tried to Lure some British Battlecruisers into the firing line of Germany's main fleet, but the Royal Navy new of the German fleets intentions, and then sent a fleet of their own. The two fleets engaged eachother but neither side achieved their objectives, so neither side really 'won' the battle
