/k/ I am seriously considering getting one these fine rifles. The ammo looks to be a tad expensive but that does not bother me too much. What would be a fair price for one these? I see anywhere from $350-800. It looks like a lot of them are priced 500-600 but that is online. Obviously I'm going to be looking for something in better condition. Anything I should watch out for other than the usual tom fuckery with the people selling these guns?

Don't pay over 450 for a really nice one.

Are you guys retarded? The k31 is a match grade rifle for less than 400$. gp11 gets imported every few years and the ammo is around 50cpr when it's not in stock. It's a great rifle op.

Why even bother though when you know for a fact the Swiss guns are great shooters? If you're trying to build a tack driver or a thousand yard gun you're going to have to load your own ammo so your entire argument is basically a moot point.
Oh, and please, point out this mythical hundred-odd dollar scope you're going to throw on a Savage 14 or Winchester 70.
You'd be better off going with a Swiss gun that was built from the ground up to be as accurate as possible, and then putting good optics on that. I go over to Montana as often as I can and hunt in the mountains with mine, my longest kill so far was 947m with my K31.
