I've met some non-ironic sheepdawgs at my local range. Every one of them has been a fat guy who has delusions of being a Tier-1 operator, despite never having been in the military (usually because they were rejected for some kind of weird medical condition). They will constantly talk about exactly how to react in a combat situation and act like they have an air of authority on the subject. They also often repeat tactical myths or copy things done by operators without understanding the reasoning.
This has very much influenced how I imagine a lots of posters on /k/.
