I think the scariest part is that even though they actually decided to charge this fuck the people ruled him innocent.
The PD's whole defense was that he fired it accidentally because he twitched, because officers are trained never to fire while walking, and because he looks confused after he shot him.
So he shoots this guy in the neck. After he shot the man he told him "Sir you are not shot, get out of the car." and calls for backup because he is refusing to get out of the car. Then when backup arrives not only does he not inform anybody for a LONG time that he shot the man while medical is trying to figure out what the fuck is wrong with the guy but when he tells them "That guy shot me," the responding officers keep repeating to him,"Sir that officer did not shoot you". then 12 MINUTES into the video he says “I think I shot him, I wasn’t even pointing at him but the gun did go off.”
I mean holy shit this asshole clearly draws his weapon and murders this guy and the people let him off for nothing. I'm not usually one to say something like this is a serious national problem, but at this point. AMERICA IS FUCKING UP. BAD.
