Which Beretta 9mm should I get /k/? I like the classic 92fs but having a rail might be handy, I don't like the look however. Also not a big fan of the desert tan color of the M9A3.

I go back and forth between 92fs now and USP9, and now I'm also highly attracted by FN57. But that thing looks huge.
Anyone have both the Beretta and FN?

Beretta makes cheaper versions that have rails. The 92A1 has the picatinny rail. It does lack the combat trigger guard if that matters to you. There's also the M9A1 which has the combat trigger guard, but rail is a weaver style. Both of those MSRP about $750, but you can probably find them closer to $600.
There's also the 92 Vertec Inox which has the slimmer grip for manlet hands as well as the weaver rail and combat trigger guard. Those MSRP at $900, though. And most people are turned off by the inox finish.
The only reason to spend the extra dosh on an M9A3 is if you want a picatinny style rail with the combat trigger guard and Vertec slim grip.

If it were me I would definitely go 92A1 over M9A3. Ugly ass color, plastic parts, and I'm not into pistol suppressors. Besides if you want a threaded barrel Gem-Tech sells some that seem pretty good quality. The safety lever angle and grip angle are bretty cool though.

Get the Wilson Combat one. It's basically a 92G-SD that's been worked over by Wilson.
MSRP is around 1100 last I remember though.
Vertecs give you the 1911 style grips.
Brigadiers have the heavier slide.

Get a Vertec and put Wilson combat parts in it. If you look hard enough you might be able to find a black used one but the new remaining stock of Vertec are usually Inox like mine.

They are roughly the same size, the five-seven is a little bit longer, but the 92FS is way, WAY heavier and wider.
Then again, you're talking about one gun that's twice the price of another.
in terms of concealed carry, the five-seven is the best out of the ones you mentioned because of how ridiculously light it is. Get a good IWB holster for it, though, because the polymer on the slide and grip checkering will irritate your skin.
IMO, a beretta with hogue grips is more comfortable to hold but not nearly as cool as the sam fisher special

It was my understanding that that they stopped a few years ago and the ones being sold were the remaining stock from Beretta. Thought all vertec frames were gong to the 93a3. I know the black ones aren't made anymore.

90-Two is just a funky looking 92/96A1. It's fedora-tier choice for people who don't want the classic looks of a 92. Also, you will never be able to put on sexy wood grips. There are small pros but they're mostly negligible.
