No. The point of it is to drop it into any AR with the hooked hammer and correct bolt carrier, and away you go.
It doesn't into burst or semi fire, though, so the only thing you can do is spray that bullet hose. If you want semiautomatic, you take out the DIAS.

no 3rd pin, it fits in to any semi auto lower that doesnt have the stupid colt sear block they were doing during the AWB or whatever. You do need an M16 bolt carrier, hammer, selector, disconnector, and trigger though.

I'm pretty sure you need a FA hammer, because the semi auto ones lack the extra lip that is physically caught by the sear in auto
You need a three position selector, yes, the raised groove on the third position is what engages the sear and consequently locks the hammer down
DIAS are kind of shitty because you still need literally every part besides the third hole and sear. The ATF will still fuck you even if you are never caught with a DIAS and they find a rifle with that many FA parts in it.

I seriously doubt it, considering if you buy an M16 parts kit it comes with the select-fire FCG parts usually.
Also you can buy them new with a paper trail.
See if you can get a gun shop to stock a bunch of M16 FCGs for you, and buy with cash.

Yes, you need all the FA parts as the DIAS is only a sear. If you own all the parts and a gun they fit in, it could be considered constructive intent, but realistically that's an add on charge if you fuck up otherwise.
