Shot with hundreds of rounds of non-lethal stuff like 22LR and 38’s.
Looking forward to moving up to a bigger non-lethal round like 223 from AR15.

It seems like the arc of this training has left my body much weaker than where I started.
Many of the wounds have not healed right.
And I am fighting a lot of fear.
And my daughter doesn’t want to help me anymore and she is the best shot I know.
Note the size of the holes have a larger diameter than the bullets that hit them.
Exit looks just like entry. These were cheap “plinking” rounds.
My AK friends assured me, this was a non-lethal round.
It looks pretty fucking lethal to me.

I went a longer route. I did .22, .25, .32 and took a couple of .380 rounds and it almost killed me. My medic/trainer thinks I actually took too long and causes some sort of allergic reaction to the constant lose doses of rounds. Says faster training is safer in that respect. Some say that rifle rounds are next to impossible to develop an immunity, but my trainer thinks the end of this summer (I resume training in spring) that we can go from .45 to a super heavy 300 blackout and that will get me set up for other medium caliber rifle shots. Your friend is lying on AK round. That is advanced shit.

I have a legitimate question about the lethality of a 223 or 556 NATO round.
I am healing up and need to fucking know. Our test on quarter inch steel plate showed something very telling. The 223 round will fucking kill a 255 pound man if it hits him center mass or in the head.
Or alternatively, I am just being a pussy about this and need to man up.
I keep hearing that the round is intended to wound. I am really scared that I got some bad intel about the round. I want to be tough, but dying isn't being tough.
