Why does my ak dent all my casings, /k/?
>>28278229
Because ALL AKs eject like a mother fucker.
Probably slamming into the dust cover on they way out. What does it matter?
is it a saiga?
>>28278229
Why do you care. You weren't intending on reloading steel, were you? Do you get mad that your hundreds of candy bar wrappers aren't perfectly flat and smooth after you bite right through them?

Thanks. Just curious.
Not a saiga.
>>28278229
Kalashnikov was a big fan of really powerful "fuck you" shell ejection, so the AK ejects cases the fuck outta the rifle. Which is a good thing.
>>28278229
My valmet does this to my brass.

found the retard.

That's the mark of reliably anon
My 74 does the same thing, the case is hitting the dust cover after ejection. Pleb ass ARs can only dream about slinging brass like a ak does
>>28278321
Also the extractor is 1/3-1/2 of the bolt so no slipped rim casings
the cartridge case starts to spin when it hits the ejector. The front spins back and hits the bolt carrier. Leaves a dent,
Not a big deal
>>28278368
It's actually doable with an AR, just undesired.
>>28278321
Isn't the G3 known for that too? I remember one of the reasons the US Army ( not sure if it was them ) didn't adopt the PSG-1 was because of crazy strong casing ejection among other things.
>>28278574
Not sure about the army PSG-1 thing, but yes, the G3 platform is notorious for chewing up spent cases with hard as fuck ejection
>>28278586
I'm not sure about the Army part, I just remember it being in competition with some other sniper rifles in the US military at one point.
>>28278586
Checked, apparently it was the US Army, they picked the M21 and M40 over it after testing in the early 80's.

>That's the mark of reliably anon
Sig 550 does it too.
>>28278725
The sig is a ak action so yes
>>28278763
In the same sense that an AR-18 is an M16 action...
