>>
>>28276411
Real story or not, all of you faggots are going to let it happen when it does. Gun confiscation will come, because nobody is willing to actually fight for their rights. Kiss your beloved guns goodbye boys. This is the future you chose, and you didn't listen to those who tried to warn you.

That hasn't stopped the evil bastard so far. And the Stupid Party just funded the DREAM Act, illegals being resettled, importation of 10,000 more Syrians, etc. in the budget last week. Until he steps down, we are effectively naked.
>>
>>28276515
Except we have stupidly broad laws like the GCA. That allows the ATF make regulations outside the scope of the original intention of the law.

Like calling m855 and 7n6 AP pistol ammo and ban them.

I have $5 that at least one of the EOs is going to be lowering the threshold of what the ATF will consider professional gun dealing and not just a private seller. So they can close up that "gun show loophole" some.

I'm sure all presidents at some point have subverted Congress/legislation/separation of powers. It really hinges on how ignorant/blind/complacent/stupid the general population is. Most of our country's population has the effective mental capacity of a potato. At least an actual potato can be beneficial.
>>
Nothing is going to happen. If Obama could have enacted any meaningful gun control via EOs (AWB, magazine restrictions, end to private sales), he would have done it after Sandy Hook.

I have a feeling this isn't how Martial Law works.
>>

Well considering what ever he is going to do try and enact, he got from Bloomberg. I'm thinking the jew has had his lawyers going over this for a while now. To make sure that government can defend the EO in court with a high chance of winning.

After that college shooting in Oregon a few months ago. Hillary said she had a whole list of gun control EO she would do on day 1, if elected. So She probably got them from the Bloombergstein too.

>>
>>28276635
Actually it is, because it places the top military commander as the ruler of the country, and removes all branches of government from the equation, giving that person 100% power over all decisions until it is called off. In the US, the president is the Commander in Chief, AKA the top commander of our military; so martial law will place him in complete control until he ends martial law.

Welcome to america, where the president can pull a Caesar 100% legally.

322 million Americans.
45ish% of households own guns.
That's around 145 million shooters.
100 Senators + 435 in the House + 1 President + 1 Vice President = 537 targets for 145,000,000 potential shooters.
That's about 3.7 million potential shooters per target.
All it would take is for 0.000000027% of those whose rights are violated to lose their shit in an accurate manor.
No more attempts at gun control.

no there isn't. an FFL can slap a "sold as is - all sales final" sticker on his door and you lose fuck all on consumer protection period.

>Ensure that only eligible individuals are buying weapons from those stores

What does this do for me as a consumer?

The only consumer protection that exists by buying from an FFL is the nominal assurance that the firearm isn't considered stolen once I buy it from the FFL.

Other than that, there is no consumer protection. FFLs can sell defective guns, FFLs can prohibit refunds and deny accountability. FFLs can literally do everything bad that bubba on armslist can do other than rob you at point of sale by force, and sell you a stolen gun.

Can /k/ help me out? I know it's gay to ask for help in an argument but I'm terrible at getting my points across.

A dude I know shared pic related and said

>I fucking hate this meme. No they didn't blame the lightsaber, they clamored in fear for the next 60+ years under Sith rule. Elect your legislative body, don't be manipulated. I don't blame guns, they're inanimate objects and if you make this argument you are also inanimate. Bad legislation, weak background checks, mental illness, and terrorism are to blame. The Force is not strong with you, you nearsighted scrap pile!

I replied with "the Rebels were using "illegal" blasters to fight off the Empire. You know, those people clamoring under Sith rule for 60+ years."

His response:

>Senator Organa proivded the initial cache of weapons for the rebellion through legal means for his security forces, but I see your allegorical reference. I also stopped a woman who had a 6 year stint in a mental hospital from obtaining the pistol that she she passed a background check for. She was going to use it to murder her family because they were possessed by the devil's undead demons. She didn't really understand when I tried to explain to her that the undead and demons would fall under different factions, but overall a victory lol.

His economic policies are... questionable in regards to feasibility

He has voted for an effective 'maximum wage' where you essentially get taxed 100% over a certain amount

He's voted against NASA funding

He openly hates nuclear energy and opposes it at every turn, even though it is (currently) the only viable 'cleaner' energy out there at the moment.

Gun control, obviously.

It's not bullshit. It's his belief system.

But okay. Fast & Furious, the White House press corps wiretapping, the arrest of Vietnam vets at their open-air memorial during the government shutdown, the usurpation of Federal control over everything from the Internet to our health care to the nature of the nuclear family -- nevermind all that. Whatever.

>>
america has enough economic problems, we dont need a socialist in power to bankrupt us further
>>
>>28277652
Let's just talk about his $15/hr minimum wage that will totally work and not cause a massive increase in the price of goods and housing costs/rent, making it completely pointless and devaluing the dollar to abysmal levels. Not to mention driving countless small businesses out of the market.
On top of that, it will completely stagnate the american workforce because who the fuck is going to waste years of their life to go to school and make more money when "more money" will mean like 2 extra dollars an hour rather than just working at mcfuckingdonalds 30 hours a week? Americans are fucking lazy, and it will be a very rare person who will go through all the effort to work 10x as hard just to make exactly the fucking same as a burgerflipper. Progress will wither and die in America as everyone does the bare minimum because their income suddenly fucking doubled.
This is of course all assuming it doesn't go down like in Seattle after they made a city-wide minimum wage of $15, where all the shitheads on WIC and government assisted housing started demanding fewer hours so they didn't lose their handouts. That's right everyone, Americans actually complained about earning more money because it meant they didn't get their fucking food stamps anymore.

And that fucking dumbass wants this to be nationwide.

Literally everyone is in favor of more education. The problem is that tards like you and Bernie think that education spending = education, when it is a verifiable fact that it doesn't. Homeschoolers blow public schoolers out of the water despite being FAR cheaper to educate.

Throwing money at a problem, despite what Bernie may believe, will not make it go away.

If the gubment actually tried to confiscate guns, it would likely lead to the outbreak of a full-scale rebellion

Why?
Because who wants to confiscate guns? Liberals.
But who makes up the actual people that would be doing the confiscating? Police and military - largely conservative.
There is no way that US military forces would be willing to shoot their own families. You would see a large percentage of them deserting.

The Omnibus bill that was just passed includes the following, most of which helped benefit Demoshits, even thought us R's have the house and Senate.
It includes:
The housing, welfare, and tax benefits of illegal immigrants currently here, and coming in the future
The funding of Obama's refugee resettlement, which has now been funded with tax payer dollars, and refugee quota's have been raised from 70 to 100k a year.
The construction of the border wall with Mexico was shot down.
The funding of sanctuary cities, and shelter for illegal immigrants
A quadrupling of H2B tech visas that will kill the job market for U.S. citizens (basically importing more Poo in loo indians)
The R's have the house and senate, and we gave the dems everything they fucking wanted.
