There's two types of aikido. The one that is dancing artform that is traditional, the other is closer to aikijujitsu, which is aikido's predecessor that uses weapons. If you learn the difference, you can actually use Seagal's form of aikido in cqb situations. It's very useful if you're a club bouncer too.
