luckygunner and aim surplus tend to be pretty good.

SGAmmo, or based, calm Fleet Farm if I feel like Red Army Standard
>>
>>28253661
Would aim surplus ever have cans of mosin food back in stock?
>>
>>28253485
my local walmart sells certain calibers cheaper than if you bought bulk online.

I just go to walmart and buy random target 9mm for $12-16 a box and shotgun shells for like $7 a box when i am doing grocery. too lazy to care if there are better deals out there

Your over paying by 10-40% after shipping is factored in. I was going to make some snide remarks about shopping at Walmart but I shop there as well

any cheapish 8mm around?

Generally online at freedom munitions. Almost guaranteed to be the cheapest brass ammo

preppers bring it upon themselves. Good job.
>>
Before I started rolling my own I got most of my 9mm, .40 and .223 from Freedom Munitions. Keep a list of other places (AIM, SG, etc) to check out when I want other things. For basic plinking stuff Walmart isn't bad.

anybody know an online ammo retailer that ships to MA? I can't seem to find one but they supposedly exist
>>
>>28253485
This is a relevant question for me actually. I'm thinking of moving to brass cased 7.62x39, but I have no idea where I could get it for cheap. Sako or Lapua brass would be the best.
>>
>>28255335
move. seriously. mass has a law that ammo sellers need to be specifically licensed, they don't issue those licenses out of state, and the attorney general sends angry letters to anyone who sends ammo in. there are a few places who don't know the laws and haven't gotten a letter yet, they'll just want a copy of your foid.

>>
>>28253757
Perfecta, right? We have those at my local wallyworld for $16 too, the fucking .38s were only $13 but they always sold out.

Are they any good? Never heard of or shot them but i just picked up an sp101 and was thinking about giving them a shot, i mean hell they're going in a revolver so they can't do too much harm
>>
>>28254401

Whats cheap?

50-ish cpr is sadly normal now.
>>
>>28255427
I will, as soon as I've saved enough for a down payment on a house I'm out of this fucking gay state, but thank you

My LGS is actually priced well and I get the rest at Walmart, with an occasional federal automatch .22lr from Dick's.

New England bro here.
>>
>>28257256
you may be able to have the seller cover the down payment as terms of the sale, discuss it with a realtor when you know where you want to live, it jumps you straight from wasting money on rent to building equity.

MA is probably the worst state for gun owners in america, its even worse than california. leave that shithole son
>>
>>28259731
>MA is probably the worst state for gun owners in america
you must not be familiar with new york.
>>
>>28259827
Ny fag here who can second that.
No online ammo sales, even though the background system is no longer in effect for ammo
>>
>>28259731
>>28259827
>>28259855

NJ is 'Nuke From Orbit' tier, at least with NY there's a red constituency outside cities but NJ is pretty much 99% 'Ban everything, ignore the massive failures of our attempts'
>>
>>28259865
if that one list that ranked states by their gun laws is accurate at all, NY is #50, NJ is #49, and MA is #48. They're all fucking awful.
>>
>>28259865
shit youre right, i forgot NJ is the state where hollow points are illegal to carry even with a valid ccw
>>
>>28260339
does anyone else find it ironic those states were the ones where the american revolution started and was primarily fought
>>
>>28260486
like the oldest leftovers in your fridge rot first...
>>
>>28260533
california is #46, so that doesn't really make sense.
>>
I work at a chain store that is big into selling guns. I'm kind of curious if taking the ammo out of the boxes and putting them in the ammo box without a case is ok? like is there any reason not to?
>>
>>28257901
>tools to find it were posted in this thread.

None of those ship outside the US.
>>
>>28260575
are you the manager/owner of the store?
>>
>>28260623
no?
I meant for my personal use not to sell
>>
>>28260575
>>28260637
Of course it's okay. I take all the ammo I buy out of its boxes immediately and load it all onto stripper clips, or into more efficient/compact boxes for storage.

But that's mostly because I don't have the patience to rip open boxes of shit and individually load rounds into mags at the range.

Pistol rounds are an exception because I can't clip load them and so using boxes is the only way I can keep track of how many rounds I have fired/have left.
>>
>>28260637
oh
then yeah, go for it. I keep all of my ammo in cans.
>>
>>28260773
>>28260764
but like, will it corrode more so if its just loose in the can. I'm planning ion just taking it out of the boxes and just dumping in the cans
>>
>>28260785
Where do you live? Somewhere with significant humidity? If so, get some desiccant packets to throw in the can. I live in CO so I don't even bother with those, ammo basically lasts forever here.
>>
>>28260791
sounds good. totally going to do that now.
>>
>>28254246
actually walmart 9mm is pretty damn cheap a box of 50 perfecta 9mm luger is less than $10. Other ammo IS more expensive, though.
>>
>>28255957
>>28257484
Perfecta is my shit, reliable and cheap-ish brass cased ammo. No brainer.
>>
>>28257605
NE fag here too.
Most of my shit is walmart. If I'm ever in the area: cabelas has decent price ak food. I steer away from bass pro because their prices can blow. Not too many good LGS near me.
>>
>>28253757
You serious? Thats cheaper than 9mm where I am.
>>
http://www.centerfiresystems.com/AM9M105.aspx
>>
>>28254411
Hell yeah
>>
>>28255957
Yup, Perfecta. I shot 100 rounds of it the other day, only had one bullet that didnt fire, had to give it another strike for it to shoot. Its normally $18 but its on sale for $16 for the time being. the 38 special is always out of stock and its $16 normally but $14 on sale. Beats the fucking $25/box for american eagle.
>>
>>28260540
never heard of the exception that proves the rule? besides there were spanish missions in california in the late 1600s.

>>28260611
lurk moar.
>>
>>28253511
I have actually found that gunbot often does not have current data and stuff can be found cheaper
>>
>>28257901
Equity is nice, but in the case of houses its a sunk fund until you sell the house unless you plan on taking loans out against your house.
Renting is wasting money but you may end up spending just as much with taxes + repairs

ormd_ammunition_diamond.jpg
45 KB, 546x540
SGAmmo is the best

Double boxes your full case so you don't have a big box labeled "CARTRIDGES SMALL ARMS" sitting on your doorstep, and uses the ORM-D diamond sticker instead of text label
>>
>>28264023
what you spend on taxes isn't going to be anywhere near rent on roughly comparable properties, repairs may be an issue if you aren't handy, but a person who owns rental properties is paying all those same expenses and making money off of renters.
>>
>>28254401
Well ppu is the best you can find.runner up is hotshot.for milurp the absolute best is portugese surplus, then yugo sniper 8mm mauser, then romanian surplus, then turk and finally iranian.dont use iranian.
