i'm interested in those new turkish magfed shotguns, they both look radical
>>
Are the Adler shotties made in Australia?
>>
>>28244491
No made in Turkey, but they caused controversy in Australia. You should know that the lever action is brand new technology that fires too quickly for any civilian to own, and it's the NRA's fault it's still available in Australia.
>>
>>28244533
Lever action assault shotguns are too dangerous to be in the hands of civilians, what were they thinking?!

Not sure if I'm into the idea now, I thought they were 'strayan made. Can't say if I trust the idea of a t*rk made gun
>>
>>28244558

like 70% of the shotguns you buy on the market today are turk made.

yes. Worst case scenario, you flipmit for profit in a year or two, or whenever the next scare is

In Canada it's probably less than that, as we have the glorious People's Republic to buy our scattergats from.
>>
>>28245248
If you want to. There is a petition circulating to move them to NR status, though it probably won't do anything. If you ever join a range you can also shoot it there.

For the anon that was asking before about Ontario transfer times.

One restricted I bought from a business just showed up randomly 6-7 business days transfer time
And from a private sale the transfer just came in at 9 business days.

>>28245347
I'm a member of a range, but it's indoor, only 30 meters, so shooting an AR won't be particularly fun there, I don't really like shooting rifles at ranges in general

>>28245347
yeah i don't think that will happen, especially under the current government

There's an outdoor range (that's kind of out of the way) but it's busy as fuck and has 30 minute target changes, which is fucking terrible if you want to get anything done, the ROs are also annoying as fuck and constantly breathing down your neck

a lot of the other ranges are pistol/shotgun only

they work but they are shit quality, like all norinco products

There's a place near Jane and Finch.

Hit up Tyrone for more details.

I hear they even have interactive ranges with real live interactive targets and classic cowboy duels too.

Québecfag reporting.

I need to explain a few things to you guys.

The Québec Prime Minister is a phenomenal cuck and a huge fudd. He tried to get Québec's gun owners on his side by saying 'I'm a hunter too I go duck hunting with my .410'.

Québec is currently running a huge deficit and the MP wants to slash stuff like health and education because 'muh austerity' while giving raises to every representative and creating a gun registry EVEN AFTER IT'S BEEN OBJECTIVELY CONFIRMED IT'S HORSESHIT.

This is how rageworthy the situation is.
>>
>>28247942
You have an inverted ak boner because you've never handled or fired a real ak
>>
>>28247963
what is so special about it? i have a vz58, would an ak blow my mind?
>>
>>28247971
Is your vz sub moa out of the box? Does it come with a match grade trigger from the factory? Does it have a heavy barrel?
>>
>>28247987
I'm talking about regular AKs not the valmet
>>
>>28247916
.308's don't, unless the price has climbed $2k in the last few months. People may want $4k for a .308 Hunter or M78 on CGN, but they sure as fuck aren't going to get it.

Now x39 however, that's another story. $4k minimum.
>>
>>28248010
What about a stamped pre ban m78? I've actually never seen a stamped valmet before this one
>>
>>28248036
There's a few kicking around, but they are rare. Your's will probably be worth more as it hasn't changed hands a million times and been shot to death like a lot of the Valmet's in Canada.

Was that $3200 Canadian, or USD? If the former, you got a decent deal on it for sure. Couple hundred at the least.

Posted a separate thread about this 2 days ago, but just wanted to break through some of the fighting and remind you all that Archangel 20-round magazines will feed an M14. If you can handle a lack of bolt hold-open, you can have a battle raifu that shoots 20 rounds before reload.

I wouldn't bother with an AIA when you do see them used they are 1000-1200. I have seen a few 7.62x51 Enfields recently but they tend to also be rare and expensive.

Although I like Endfields i'm going to have to say Israeli Mauser on this one.

Quick question, I'm learning to shoot rifles left-handed since my left eye is my dominant one...

If I'm standing, holding my SKS, is it proper to take my left hand off of the rifle, reload, and bring my hand over or under to chamber the round, or do I keep holding it with my left hand still on the grip, and do the work with my right hand?

>>
>>28252576
I usually move my left between the trigger guard and magwell, reload and chamber with right hand.

Whatever is easiest for you, keep in mind you want to be controlling muzzle direction during your reload.
>>
>>28252631
Alright, so I should move my left hand up when I go to reload so I can do all the other work with my right hand.

I guess I could get used to that, since I really don't care for reaching over or under the rifle to work the bolt, it feels so awkward. I was just wondering if there's a standard "proper" way that's taught for lefties to reload the SKS.
>>
>>28252645
Nah rifles are generally a right handed deal i'm in the same situation you get used to it.

If it bugs you later on to reload with your right, you can niggerrig a galil style charging handle and charge overtop instead of under.

I've been in there already. It's all gutted, nothing noteworthy except the basement.
To get in, walk around the fence until you find a link in the fence that is loose. I've cut a couple there for future explorers.

Once you're through, either go to the emergency entrance, which can be opened by pulling the wood and making yourself a neat hole. Or, basement exit, which you'll find in the back alot of people miss that. It's a tunnel, a little wet though.

Basement is the scariest fucking thing. The fourth floor of the hospital used to be high activity when it wasn't gutted, but now the basement is the new skinwalker location.

>is it stupid to go through the non-restricted course then go through the restricted firearms course.
Yes.

There are many people who do Non-Restricted only, then they realize handguns and scary black rifles are awesome, so then they have to take the Restricted course to get an RPAL.

Like that other anon said, you generally have to take both courses to get an RPAL anyway. But if you do both in one go, you'll still save more time overall.

One course is like 8-10 hours. There are many instructors who will do combined courses for roughly 12 hours. So you could do the courses separately at 8-10 hours each and spend a total of 16-20 hours, or you can just sit through one combined mega-course and be out of there in like 12 hours.

And let's not forget the application process. Average processing time for a firearms license is 3-9 months. Which would you rather do, submit one application and wait 3-9 months, or do it twice?

Anyone from Sherbrooke area? Know any good spots to target shoot in the woods or something? Club de tir Lennoxville is handguns and .22 only and Club de tir Sandhill is too expensive for me.

Yo canuck fucks

I recently got into guns but how are guns generally viewed here? are libtards fuming out of the nose here or are they like "whatever I trust our background checks"

It's a sliding scale.

Liberals still hate guns, but for the most part, are satisfied that our gun laws are enough to stop any tragedies from happening, since a shooter will be unable to carry out such a heinous act with so many laws standing in his way.

With that said, the most hardcore Liberals and fudds are our biggest threat, and will always be trying to push for harder gun control, like handgun and semi-auto bans. Right now, I think the only thing we have to worry about is going back to having to acquire paper ATTs, but even that could be far off since Le 2015 Weed Man has enough on his plate at the moment.

Like the other guy said, Weed Man is busy sorting out how he'll actually follow through on his most popular campaign promise, so he doesn't care too much about guns at the moment, beyond being patronizing to the US. That could change of course, so in the mean time it would be better to drum up as much pro gun sentiment as you can.

I have a valmet hunter, so back up to 2. I have the pistol grip for it just need to get a trigger. A new stock would be nice. Anyone know where to get a stock adapter for valmets?
