I was at a gun store today, and was looking at belts in pic related, which are supposed to be more solid than a normal belt.

Worth it for $70?

My $20 izod belt seems sturdy, but I do like nice things.

its a belt buckle. i bought one for $10 5 years ago and i'm still wearing it just fine. don't go full retard over a piece of hinged steel.
>>
>>28102849
That's an entire belt you dumb nigger.
>>
>>28102849
It's not a buckle it's a whole belt. Sales guy demonstrated its more rigid than a normal belt.

w/e, i stand by my comment. it's a belt. unless its fancy or something don't worry about spending a ton of money on it.
>>

$70 isn't exactly a ton of money. I just didn't want to buy a gimmick.

If this belt would improve my life and make CCing my glock 19 better then I'll grab it

It's just an item I'm not sure what to think of

I like nice things but I'm not wasteful

these are pretty good for around the same price. they're actually rated for rappelling in an emergency too
>>

Galco makes shit products.
>>
>>28103318
Yeah, but you can't wear those around
>>
>>28103320
Op here you have my attention, why?

And what's a good brand then?
>>
Too thin. If you're looking for a decent carry belt go for a 1.5" leather, makes all the difference.
>>
Galco belts are good to go.
>>
>>28103332
wat. why?
>>
>>28103507
Do you walk around dressed like a mallninja? I dress decently, I'm not going to walk around in tactical pants and a gigantic tactical belt.
>>
>>28103513
military assault clothing is the term you need
>>
>>28103513
well if you have a suit and tie kinda job the its a bit different.

my shirt usually covers my belt, and i CC anyway so it wouldn't matter.

While we're on the subject of belts, how're Crossbreed's?

Specifically these: http://www.crossbreedholsters.com/HotcakesStore/ProductViewer/tabid/113/slug/Gun-Belt/Default.aspx
>>

You don't wear one otherwise you would not have suggested OP use one.

Its too much shit just for everyday use like at work or going out. You don't need that damned loop. If you want that kind of belt and buckle, get an HSGI 1.5 cobra rigger belt.

Besides, all you or anyone who is going to carry needs to worry about is if the belt has a plastic insert. That is the kind you want.
