Hey, im hunting right now. Goin' for Elk. Using my Vz 24 Rifle. 8mm Mauser. Rifles set for 600m. Think i'll get one tonight?

I have plenty of range practice. Mostly 300/400m hits steel plates fine at that distance.

I got a bull elk in Northern Nevada a few weeks ago at 50 yards but only because I tracked it instead of sitting around

Just don't do this setup with a pump shotgun. Working the action causes the mount to loosen up. Almost blew off my go pro got decent footage doing it.
