Anyone make one of their own? Also, talk about suppressed gun stuff.
You're gonna go through all that trouble and not just SBR it?
If you form one one of the maglight jiggers can you just keep rebuilding it if it craps out?

yes
Haven't done anything suppressor related but I do have this. I think it'd be pretty sweet if the was a suppressor that screwed into a cap on the gas block. Kinda like this guy's but further back.

Is it allowed to make your own if you still pay the tax stamp?
Looking for a way to cheaply suppress a .22 lr for shooting squirrels from my durr stand without spooking the durr

I did a monocore rifle suppressor, welded caps.
Pretty easy once I ruined about 4 blocks of Inconel figuring out proper cutting speeds for my end mill (had never worked with it before, shit's tough as fuck). Tube is D1 tool steel as it's easier to weld.
Thing is heavier than SHIT but only 13.5" long.

Good .22lr suppressors are still only $150-200, the stamp literally costs more than a mid-high-end rimfire can.
If you don't have GOOD power tools now, it will be cheaper to buy a suppressor than make one.

What about for 5.56?

If you put the serial on the correct part.
