Nothing. It was made with the idea that a double-action trigger is enough of a safety, or you can carry cocked and locked with the safety on.
safety is for carrying it cocked and locked, DA doesn't need a safety.

There are plenty of great carry guns that have no safety, don't worry about it.

I completely disassembled my 82 to rust blue it as a home project. That never came to be, ran out of time for projects and fun shit due to work, but I'm taking it to a cerakote place as soon as I find some time. It should come out nice and look good with some hardwood grips.
