I just got back from parris island and am on boot leave rn. I was never "broken down and built back up". You just get toyed with for 13 weeks and do useless, worthless shit while being told that it's all part of some bigger lesson that apparently I either never caught on to, or just never learned. If you're not an idiot and you are a team player you would have no problem at parris island.
