OP here. I'm 20 now.
Buddy and I had finished with our serious shit (sighting a scope and actually practicing.) We decide to set up a bleach and Tide bottle down range the next time the range goes cold and pull out our Mosins. My buddy immediately hit the bleach bottle sending it over the berm, so the fucker goes after my Tide bottle. We bounce that shit back and forth all over the range several times reloading as fast as we can. Serious shit talking commences, and we both get pissed each time we miss and cheer when we hit. I've never wanted to keep hitting a target so bad in my life. The fucking bottle was dancing around that range. After about an minute or so, I stop to reload, and hear the guy at the table next to me laughing. I look around and every fucking body has stopped shooting and were watching us...

The Pops and I went shooting today for some Father-Son bonding.
Coincidently, it was his first time ever with an AR. He has a Pre '64 Winchester 94, a couple pistols, an a 10/22 my Grandpa left to us. I have an AR, an 870, a Marlin 95 and a few other things that I didn't take.

Was at the local indoor range and an old man in the land. next to me kept sweeping his brass every few mags. his .45 was tossing some into my area and I saw him sweeping up brass behind me a couple of times.
When I was finished and swept my area I had gathered only a fraction of the brass I'd gone through.
How do you deal with old men who are stealing your brass? I respect elders, I know he was after his .45 but he surely would have noticed my 9mm casings... wat do /k/ ?

You have to keep an eye on your brass. I am non-confrontational and it is pretty easy to stop someone before it really gets going by calling their attention to the "mistake" they are making with regard to your brass when it first happens. That being said, Dick Marchenko would not leave a range with my brass.

Well, here's the story on that.
For some reason they decided to build houses behind the range, and some bullets were hitting the houses. (HOW COULD DIS HAPPEN!?!?1) And they were going to be forced to close if they didn't make the backstop bigger. Well they then stopped allowing anything over 30 cal for at least a year. And when they finally allowed 30 cal and bigger they check everyone's ammo.
It wasn't labeled but it was in a sealed bag, and it looks nothing like FMJ. Its a silver bullet, and it shaped really odd. I told them it was heavy frangible, but they flipped out on me.
