r/CredibleDefense seems okay for the most part, though I still don't like how reddit is laid out in general.

Last time I visited /r/guns I was surprised that the discussions were much more intelligent and less "meme-based" there were people who actually knew about guns and weren't just mall ninjas.
After that I missed my ol' /k/ so I came back here to read about how 9mm is a clown caliber and revolvers are 19 century crap.

/k/ has it's moments too, it's just going through a rough patch as of late. It should get a little more stable as time goes on, just as it has before.
