Rifle No. 3 were what P14's were renamed to after WWI. There were no Mk's assigned to these rifles, and they were not Lee-Enfields.
You are referring to the No.1 Mk.III*, which was a simplified version of the No.1 Mk.III, the primary differences being the simplification of the rear sight, changing the round cocking knob to a serrated slab, and the deletion of the magazine cut off.
