Im looking to buy some tactical pants in woodland pattern. Who makes the best pants? Crye Style knee pads are great but not needed. Ive heard propper bdu's are shit. Help me out /k/

>his camo was working good but we managed to spot him by his fuckhuge luminox sir.
>>
>>27950453
They have to be airsofters. No one I know (That leaves the wire) in the service likes to tritium.
>>
Is this airshit? I wouldn't normally ask since their gear makes sense, but the lack of tan on the left guy and the lack of mass on all of them got me wondering.
>>
>>27950477
Most military personnel aren't that bulky, they tend to be more cut because of all the cardio they do, as for the lack of tan, I'm not sure what your trying to get at.

Do you have any relevant answers to the OP's question?

OP
try some military surplus stores and try stuff on. Who gives a shit who makes it, as long as its comfy or suits you or whatever
>>
>>27950472
None of their arms have tattoos and that kid on the left has pale, skinny arms. Definitely airsofters

Just buy some surplus pants.
or get Beyond clothing.
woodland is pretty mediocre honestly.
>>
>>27950562
>I'm not sure what your trying to get at.
Its mostly the guy on the left that throws me off. His core is slight, his forearms have no tone and his skin is day-glow. Ive never met a military guy that pale, especially one that actually carries a gun, rather than doing a desk job.

I don't have any beyond stuff. but have heard good things about them. I'd buy them if I wanted something in Woodland.

That photo was two Crye G3 Combat shirts in both woodland in Multicam Tropic
>>
Whats the pattern on the far right? all the multicam stuff is crye in this photo correct? What about the woodland outfit? how is the quality?

Swedish M90.
and the Woodland bottoms are FFI and the MC Black shirt is truspec.
rest is genuine Crye though in the mutlicam stuff.
woodland is alright, though I've seen posts where the soldiers overseas had to do repairs on them more often, something to do with the Woodland fabric. I dunno though, its done fine with me but I've switched to the MC tropic set for most use

Out of all the plate carriers which one was your favorite?
>>
Don't get 5.11

Got their taclite bdus and those things are way too restrictive and starchy. I was almost bleeding around the waist halfway through the shift from chafing. If you actually use the cargo pockets, even small items will rub against your legs and hurt like hell after a while. The sizing system they use is also retarded, waist sizing is universal for a reason, yet they only come in small medium and large. If it says they stretch from size 27 to 32, they stay a size 27 because the elastic is so tough it doesn't stretch like say... elastic would. Had to cut the elastic and that mostly solved the problem but they still feel tight and look like shit.

He fell for the SEAL-marketing scam. In reality opetarors just use the 19,99$ G-shocks which can be from any Ali's corner shop.

The whole picture screams airsoft.

at least the dude in the middle looks like he belongs. The other two look lost. Most likely never hiked up a single hill. But the real dead give away is the forearms. So weak and thin...

>>27951277

Oh shit, I'm wearing that thing right now. It's my edc watch.

I kind of find it hard to accept that real operators use it though, it has a huge problem with the buttons being accidentally pressed and switching time zones.
>>
>>27956007
>
I suspect the higher end casios have a button lock or something. all I know is my buddy was in 5th sf had the watch in that pic and said he used it in Iraq. I cant imagine that during a DA raid or in the middle of combat you would be looking at your watch repeatedly, so maybe that's not a huge issue?
>>
>>27956036

I mean you wouldn't want a bad time reference just because your mind was cloudy and your wrist hit the button by accident. I guess you could just change every timezone to the same one.

This one definitely does not have a time lock to my knowledge. It's not terribly expensive.

The screen seems like it could reflect a good deal of light too, but I don't know how much they actually care about that shit.

>>
>>27950441
Crye, tru-spec, or surplus are your only options priced high to low.
>>
>>27956054
I have a different casio, but yeah that would make sense, just set all the times to the same one if thats an issue. I mean all the occasions in which you want to look at your watch i would imagine they where during itel gathering or planning an op or something. so it would be during a part of downtime and not in the middle of getting shot at. also as for reflection you can turn your watch face inside, cover it with a garment or do what some guys do which is make a special cover for the watch face that you pull back to see the time. either way your not able to see your watch immediatly

Very cool, I might end up picking up one of the those Perroz Designs LPSPC after all. Seeing that I can mod and hookup a cheap chicom to the to the carrier.

I might give that a go too.

planning to add: mesh map pouch, bigger gp pouches w/Millbank pockets on the lids, and do some sly stuff with some paracord and shock cord around the mag pouch area.
