Just saw a thread about someone considering buying an 80% on amazon and that reminded me that they exist in the first place. So /k/ where can I go to get all the necessary and budget smart parts for my own 80% build? That includes jigs and upper recievers too.
Any where that sells parts? PSA, brownells, midway, take your pick. Brownells even sells 80% kits that comes with jigs now (though it's the mill jig, not the router jig).

Don't get me wrong I like anonymity but literally every site you buy 80% lowers from could probably be broken in a bored NSA afternoon. Gun makers/businesses are some of the least tech savvy things I've seen in ages. Not to say you couldn't buy one in cash locally and it at least be harder to trace.

That's still not true. You are not legally required to register anything you made yourself unless you want to sell it. They tried to pass laws to require registration for personal manufacturing, but brown vetoed it.

I got an 80% from right to bear for $40. I think they also sell an 80% + jig combo for around $100.

He got in trouble with the DOJ and had to close shop. At least he wasn't arrested. I don't think they know that he did shit like release guns early, give people standard mags with no blocking, and didn't actually convert SSE guns to SSE (he only had 2 barrels and did probably hundreds a month).
