Whenever I handle guns my hands get so sweaty. It is really embarrassing when I go to a gun store and have to apologize I covered their guns in my sweat. Does anyone else here on /k/ have this problem?
Last weekend I was at an Academy sporting goods store in Central Florida and I asked to look at their Hi-Point carbine.
>completely soaked the gun
>my disgusting body sweat all over it's rubber
>stirring macaroni and cheese sound as I grasp it's body
I'm pretty sure it isn't because I'm getting turned on... Please help /k/
Lose some weight fatass

Is that jizz?

Go to a doctor, there are pills for that.
>>27939065
wait
only when you handle guns?

Not OP, but let's be fair. I'm weighed in at 160, and I shower every day, including washing my hands more then a few times as well (work with kids) but I still get sweaty palms when I handle fire arms too.

That's not sweat, that's the result of fapping to rifles.
>>27939280
Well, General sweaty palms. Holding hands with the misses, and riding my bike or the driving. Not when I am doing work though, I don't think I have ever sweated up when cutting firewood.

Had this issue from birth.
Use baby powder, it prevents hand sweating for a short amount of time.

problem solved

Sounds like you got hyperhidrosis brah. You can get surgery for that or take meds. In all seriousness, that is probably the worst case of hyperhidrosis I've ever seen.
>>27939344
get a trench coat and a fedora to go along with those too.
>>27939344
I'll be sure to wear my eXtreme black and green gloves next time I go to a gun store, thanks!
>>27939065
Did you cum on your hand and go to your LGS to impregnate all the guns?
Hiperhydrosis
There isn't much that can be done without specialized (a.k.a. expensive) help. Deal with it.

Gloves are your friends here.

My nutritionist wants me to gain weight actually.
OP here. It's weird tho, it only happens when I handle guns or computer keyboards, sometimes I get really nervous around marlin .22's to be specific. Thanks though, I'll look into this Hiperhydrosis.

Only takes a lil bit in the barrel anon ;)
>>27939407
>nutritionist
that's when you know you're a fat fuck
Do you drink a lot of caffeine and/or use tobacco? If so, stop.
Here is a serious reply: You can apply antiperspirant to your palms. Get Certain-Dri roll-on, apply once a day to CLEAN hands, and after a week or so your sweat glands will begin to deactivate. You can do your feet too. Just don't go nuts and coat your whole body.
>>27939785
That is actually really clever, thanks.
>>27939293
There's surgery for that.
Its an extreme solution, but mind you, everyone hates shaking hands with a dude with moist palms.
go see a doctor.
me however, i went to a doctor.
me: doc im always hot as fuck
doc: there is litterally nothing wrong with you
me: im sweating my balls off and its 73 degrees
doc: youre incredibly healthy, you just run hot
me: im moving to alaska
doc: har har har
i still havent moved..... when everyone els is outside in big fluffy winter jackets im still wearing a t shirt.
when its dead of winter im at most wearing a hoody...

This happens to me too.
Shit started around the time my balls dropped. Happens when playing vidya and also when handling guns and explosives or when doing precise work like soldering or such.
I repair guns for work.
Luckily the gun oil we use fucks with the skin some way that stops the sweating. Still happens when handling a new type of gun that I'm not familiar with for the first time.
Never left rusty fingerprints on any guns though.

I have hyperhydrosis too anon, it really is the worst. See your doctor, 1 or 2 2mg tablets of an ulcer med called glycopyrrolate every morning sets me straight, although it doesn't work too well when you're in heat or humidity all day, and taking too much at a time will give you a very painfully dry mouth for the rest of the day. Getting a prescription for it shouldn't be a big deal at all. DO NOT try and correct it with surgery, you'll likely just start over-sweating in another place than your hands or feet. Pills, iontophoresis (look it up, its pretty neat), natural treatments like green tea, or antiperspirants are your only solid options.

I don't like the sound of surgery anyway. To be perfectly honest this problem only really bugs me when handling an item at a store or shaking/ holding someone's hand, and it is only an issue when I am somewhere that is relatively hot. I think I have a milder case of hyperhydrosis but nevertheless... danke
Happens to me.
>5'10 manlet
>175 lbs
>lift daily
>even when it's slightly hot I sweat like a motherfucker
Thankfully clinical deodorant has changed my life, but I still get awful swamp-ass at the gym. I also sweat at gun stores that don't have A/C, because apparently old people in Florida get cold at anything below 80 fahrenheit.
>>27939851
Could be anxiety related.
Anxiety can physically raise your body temperature.
>>27939065
what's wrong with sweat anon? It's just natural lube awaiting to be enjoyed
>mfw when cleaning my grips, front strap checkering, control surfaces, and slide serrations with a nylon brush
>>27939065
I have this problem too, and a real simple trick?
Get some bar soap and just wash your hands a lot, like, Surgeon levels of alot. Mine was bad to the point in high school I would put my hand on the blackboard and My handprint would be dripping down the board
It only lasts for a few hours between washings, but its simple and non-weird enough that you can repeat it a lot with either no notice by your peers, or they may even compliment you on your cleanliness
>>27939065
It's not polite to cum all over a gun.
