Currently restoring my late-grandfather's old No1 MkIII*
I have a new old-stock walnut stock set, and original replacement parts for everything missing in a box at the moment.

Just about tearing my hair out looking for a replacement charger bridge though. Anybody have one? I'll buy it off you.

Was only going to be slip on ones, im aware of the weight

The mag tube is more to say fuck you to the government, if you dont know the story the original adler had a 7 shot tube, that was restricted to 5 on import, but you can freely upgrade it back once it arrives

I'm converting 2 SL8s. One is going to be a MG36 clone. The other will be a XM8 clone using a TBT kit.

I have all of the part required for the G36 clone including the rear G36 receiver to plastic weld onto the SL8. I just need to send it off to get professionally converted which will fill in the magazine window and re-profile the barrel + add the bayo lug.

I'm not going to send it off until after Christmas.

Here's what I plan to do to the top SL8. I'm trying to track down a ISM-V right now, but they're impossible to find. I might just have to put an Aimpoint PRO on it or something when the time comes.

Not sure if this counts since I just finished it but my home defense shotty.

I had a tacticool red dot on it like you OP but I decided against keeping it on.
>>
>>27915984
Why is it white?

I like it, but I'd like to hear your reasoning. I'm assuming to make it easy to find in the dark?
>>
>>27916059
Originally it was because I was going to paint it another color that required white as a base coat. Then I got lazy and never finished it.

It does make it easier to find though.

What's the quality like on the Adler? It looks awesome and I hope we see them in the States eventually. Its a beautiful piece and you should be proud. Keep up the good fight.

It has not. It's just missing half its pieces, and there's some bad pitting on the receiver and bolt. I'll be rebluing those.
Check out the barrel on this thing. It's not a .410 conversion either, I checked.
>>
>>27916318
Mine is pretty good, its not a high end Browning or something but for $800 its better quality then any of the competitions.
>>
I repainted the trigger guard on my Savage Springfield Model 67F 20 gauge, it was all chipping off. I also got a nasty gouge out of the stock and refinished it. Next on the list is sling mounts.

Ausfag as well.

Just got a Marlin 1894cp, probably gonna get a trs 25 to put on it.

Thinking about putting a reflex sight on my IAC 1887 as well.

Seriously considering a barrel shroud and bigass sights like pic related.

Yo OP, how is the advanced micro?
I've heard nothing but good things, but the one thing I want to know is if it has any color tint looking through it or not.

I've never had a tactical shotgun, how can I ad better irons, I know they aren't practical, but I want like tactical irons that I can fold away, however the adler only has the dovetail rail and the rib

honestly I can just put a better glow bead, however I've done practical (old arsenal pic) and want to do tacticool
>>
>>27917529
>>27917562
I will agree that whatever is going on in that picture is an abomination.

But that doesn't stop me from wanting to incorporate a couple of parts into my own IAC.

Downside is I think the shroud would require some removal of the grip panels, unless I had replacements then that's not something I would do. I'd also be concerned about its ability to hold zero with those sights. I just figure it would help being able to go full Costard thumb over bore with it because the recoil is pretty hefty.

I definitely plan to add a flashlight though, most bunnies I pop with it are done at night.

It's not considered a separate part from the receiver, and they were never sold alone, which is what makes them a bitch to find.
It's also called a clip guide.
>>
>>27920656
S>>27920656
it sucks then. You'd have to replace the whole reciever (defeats the point) or buy a second enfield to bastardize it (might be worth it if you're missing enough parts. I see you're missing sights and whatnot anyways, so it might be an option)

I bought a 1943 enfield for a 175$ not realizing it was missing 200$ in pieces. Luckily all mine were easy enough to order.
>>
>>27920764
I have all the missing pieces in a box, except that. Springfield Sporters and Numrich had everything.
I've found some expired ebay auctions for charger bridges, so I'll be monitoring that and gunbroker.
>>
>>27920815
What do you plan to do with the shot out barrel?
>>
>>27922691
I've thought about making it a .410 barrel and throwing it up on gunbroker. But until I get my barrel vise and action wrench, it'll be staying right where it is.
>>
>>27919536
No there are Australian companies doing it for about $150Australian
