How come nobodies talking about this?
Seems like a good idea for fast shooting.
>what are your thoughts?
bump
Can be paired with almost any red dot.
Too 'spensive for my blood, but then again im a poorfag. I'll wait for Primary Arms to clone it if the idea catches on.
Thought it was dumb until I actually got to play with it.
It's definitely interesting, but not sure how much I like it.
Why not just have the red dot mounted on top of the magnified sight like normal? I don't understand the point
>>27913521
It's painfully awkward and poorly executed, which is exactly why it's never going to catch on unless Leupold redesigns it.
>>27913681
I have yet to see one in person, how bright/usable is it compared with a similarly priced 1x6 short dot?
>>27913521
Wtf is the shit on the side? Looks overly hitech
>>27913701
Idea is no shift in cheek weld.
Great concept
>$4000
That's why
>>27913728
It's pretty good glad with good clarity and light, very similar to the HAMR optic glass wise, if you've ever got to play with it.
I'd personally still prefer a 1-6, but that is just me.
>>27913701
With the D-Evo, you don't have to adjust your head to change between the optics. You simply glance down or up. It's really hard to explain on paper, but pretty awesome in reality.
>>27913738
>Why would some one go on the internet and spread lies?
Why is it all janky and off center?
>>27913779
That's still far too expensive.
>>27913779
that doesnt include the $700-1k rds
>>27913521
Why not just develop a mount for various RDS optics like the Daniel Defense mount that's tall and skeletonized (pic related) and then develop a magnified optic that sits on a low mount to sit right behind it and views through the skeletonized RDS mount?
Sure, guys with fixed FSBs are kind of screwed, but that's virtually nobody in SOCOM or who would actually be using this kind of set up.
Seems infinitely cheaper, simpler, and more robust than developing a complex tumor that hangs awkwardly off the side of your rifle.
The Ruskies did it better surprisingly
>>27914592
A good bit more streamlined too.
Because they're bad
>>27914592
>>27914606
This is a good package >>27913521
This is huge bulky bullshit
>>27914606
ROs scope? Cant find online you have a maker name or a link?
>>27915418
bump for answer
>>27914592
what sight? and it available for the AK74
>>27915693

>>27915790
so around $1600 for this
>>27914606
>>27914592
>>27913779
but then Canada is wallet kill.
>>27915790
>2:24
>>27915790
oscar worthy
>>27913733
the shit on the side is the camera that sends video to the viewing panel, anon.
>>27915790
>still better than zero dark thirty
being a lefty I don't like how looks like it takes up some my my forward vision but obviously not having played with one i cannot say for sure
Because it costs $5,000.
>>27913584
>$3,000
>same CA as a $35 BSA
>>27913779
That's only half. The dot costs another $2,000.
>>27913521
>>27913521
For the price I would rather a S&B scope for my long range stuff.
Its a cool concept but way to hexy for me.
so in another 10-15 years these things will be $300.
Doesn't Barret use a similar digital zoom "optic" for their rifles?
>>27913521
I think it's fucking cool, but I don't even have 1,800 dollars to spend on a gun. I wouldn't think to spend that much on a scope. And part of me thinks that optics like this are just bought skill. Same with handgun red dots. I've seen people shoot stock glocks incredibly well, so I spend $800 bucks to mill my Glock for a deltapoint so I can shoot better, but really all I need is more practice, not gadgets.
>>27913521
Honestly looks like it's meant for machine guns or ultra-light scout rifles...
>>27915790
Was this thing filmed by Michael J. Fox or something
The D-EVO is not digital. No camera or batteries. There's a reason they don't show you an actual view through that Russian product. The optics are horrific. The pictures are always mockups because you can't get both images to look clear in one spot. Also check actual prices online (optics planet) and the D-EVO is $1500. If you already have a RDS, use that. If you want an LCO it's $1k.
>>27915790
>post the pic of the scope
>people getting curious
>post the video
cann't stop laughing my ass off every time this happen, ROS are based
>>27914592
mind telling me what sight this is?
