Looking for a subcompact semiautomatic for CC. I've had a couple people point me towards the keltec pf9. Is this a good buy?
I didn't know they had a "blood in my stool" colored frame
i wouldn't buy a keltec its literally jam central

I always thought of it more as "Three day old melted chocolate bar in my pocket."

This
>dad buys nib pf9
>literally fte's on the second shot
>firing pin is fucked and can't strike the primer 9/10 times
and even if you do get a "good" one, enjoy that long trigger and retarded dissassembly process.
Shit gun, money is better spent elsewhere.
Why not look at the Shield, or even better, the Walther PPS? Both serve the same purpose without being leltec quality.

I have one. I like it. Not good for fun shooting but goes bang everytime for me. for 210 dollars off of PSAs website i dont think you can go wrong. Hard to control the recoil though

Buying a lel kek...
Just save another $250 and get a Glock. They're reliable and not pieces of shit.

As someone who owns both a p11 and p40,
Don't bother.
Get a sphnix , it's a redesign by an ex kel tec employee.
They're accurate out to 10 yards. Trigger pull is eh to heavy. A used S&W model 10 would serve you better and be more reliable for the same price.
If you don't need DAO, get a zastava m70a

Worked for Zimmerman...
Get a P938

As somebody who owns a P938 and PF9, I actually carry the Kel Tec MORE. I guess people shit on them, but mine has been perfectly reliable with every variety of ammo (shit or not) I've gotten my hands on. Maybe people don't realize they're a legitimate machine shop with great customer service.
I bought mine as a beater gun, and it's proved to be much nicer (though still the cheapest piece I own). It served me as a 'test gun' for a bit, to see how shitty I could go with ammo before I ran into problems, but no matter what I bought I couldn't make it jam. I'd definitely trust my life to it.
And for the record, the trigger is long, but mine broke in really nicely and is both smooth and crisp. Considering the gun is so small and has no safety, it's much better than you would think.
